Aviation in Hindi means "Vimaanan". This means activities related to aircraft and aeroplanes. These activities are - Design, Production, and Operations. Duty free shops area, inside-airport service vehicles area for police, ambulance, emergency services as well as buggies for old/ infirm or pregnant passengers and charging points for these electric vehicles, terminal maintenance offices- for minor repairs and housekeeping, pilots and air crew briefing rooms, boarding gates Air side: loading ramp, parking bay, aero-bridges, hangars, aircraft maintenance areas, runway maintenance areas, aircraft fuel dump/ tanks, material handling equipment (loading and unloading tractors etc. ), ladders and baggage loading vehicles parking areas, push back trolley area, security areas especially near baggage loading areas, aircraft re-stocking areas (food, laundry etc. ).
The trucks which come in from flight catering will wait till they can go right up to the aircraft, aircraft stabling areas, fire fighting equipment- usually a fire station with two or three fire engines on standby, runway management offices, aircraft guidance vehicles parking areas, remote bay, isolation bay (to isolate aircraft with reported bomb threat etc. ), Air Traffic Control (ATC) offices and control tower So you can SEE immense number of positions and departments in Aviation field, You must chose the college/university wisely.
