Admission to the Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (GNIPST) is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The scores required for admission to different courses vary: 

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma): Requires a minimum of 45% in the 12th grade, and a valid WBJEE, JEE-Mains, or CEE AMPAI score 

Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharma): Requires a valid GPAT, PGET, or CEE AMPAI score 

B.Sc and M.Sc: Admission is based on the Common Entrance Test (CET) 

B.H.M: Requires a minimum of 50% in the 12th grade, and admission is based on merit and the CET entrance exam conducted by MAKAUT
