Guru Nanak Institute of Technology - GNIT Scholarships and Funding
The Institute provides scholarship schemes to the students enrolled in Graduate and Post Graduate programs from non-government organisations. The students apply for the scholarship schemes and the applications are thoroughly reviewed by the governing body of the Institute and approvals are set accordingly. The list of the scholarship schemes offered by the institute is given below:
1) Institute UG Scholarship- The Institute offers a scholarship of Rs.60,000/- @ Rs.10,000/- per semester to the students who have studied their three years of Diploma in Engineering in the institute.
2)Institute PG Scholarship- The Institute offers a scholarship of 20% on tuition fees i.e Rs.10000/- per semester is applicable to the external students who have scored a DGPA of 7.0 and above in their last qualifying examination for pursuing M.Tech. Assistance ship of Rs.3000 per month will also be given to M.Tech students (M.Tech-Civil Engineering is not eligible for the stipend). The Institute offers a scholarship of 20% of the tuition fees to any student who has completed a B.Tech programme from this institute and secures admission to the M.Tech program in the same institute. Assistance ship of Rs.3000 per month will also be given to M.Tech students (M.Tech-Civil Engineering is not eligible for the stipend). The Institute offers a scholarship of 20% on tuition fees i.e Rs.10000/- per semester is applicable to the external students who have scored a DGPA of 7.0 and above in their last qualifying examination for pursuing MCA.

7. MAKAUT Students’ Welfare Scholarship.
8. Backward Classes Welfare Department (OASIS Scholarship) to SC/ST/OBC – West Bengal Govt.
9. WB Chief Minister Relief Fund Scholarship (Nabanna).
10. Tripura Scholarship for B.Tech Lateral Entry Students (Domicile in Tripura).
11. JIS Internal Scholarship- For JIS group students opting for higher studies in an institution under JIS
Group.
The application fee of admission in MCA programme at Guru Nanak Institute of Technology is expected to be charged between INR 1000 to INR 1500. This college could provide a reasonable rate of placements for MCA students ranging from 70-80 percent every year.
