A good infrastructure and placement.
Placements: In this course, students were placed via WBJEEB counselling or their own choice of college selection. The minimum package was 3.25 LPA. Internships were available in government medical college, and stipend was Rs 10,000 per month.
Infrastructure: College Wi-Fi and library were available for students. Mess service was available for boys and girls separately. There was also hostel facility for nursing students. Sports and games facilities were available like cricket and football tournaments. Medical facilities were available in own hospital.
Faculty: Teachers were too helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. There were semester exams, and there were yearly exams conducted by West Bengal University of Health Sciences. Passing percentage was 50% minimum. There were internal exams and assignments conducted by our college.
Other: I chose this course because of my own interest in operation theatre. The best part of this course was good communication between surgeons and other medical professionals. Events and fests were organised by students, and college authority like Independence Day, Teachers Day, Freshers Day, etc. All were so helpful there. SVMCM scholarship was also available and students credit card option was available. Oasis Aikyashree scholarship was available as well.
