B.Com. in Computer Application - Batch of 2024
2.8
1Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
It is a really good college.
Placements: Our college didn't provide any placement opportunities for B.Com students but many job orientation classes were provided by the college management. These helped the students to get an idea about the jobs and their careers. But BBA students in the college had internship programs that helped them to understand real work life experience.
Infrastructure: The college provides many infrastructure facilities for the students like labs, classrooms, library, and Wi-Fi for educational purpose. Library has computers that help the students to clear doubts, do their project work, etc. Hostel facilities are also available for girls in the college. Mess food and the canteen food is really nice.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful. They are highly educated and knowledgeable. They know how to deal with the students. Some teachers are really strict while the others are extremely friendly. The semester exams are conducted by the Calicut university and the results are published by them. Passing percentage is average.
Other: I took this course because I was interested in accounting. The college should provide campus placements for the improvement of my course. College events are nice.

Our college provides good infrastructure.
Placements: Placements are average. You can join here after the 12th standard, and you must finish your 10th in any school in India or Kerala.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Girls' hostel is better. The food quality is decent. Classrooms are well-maintained. This college is located opposite to Manorama office in Nadakkavu Kozhikode.
Faculty: Faculty members are average. The HOD of the commerce department is very good. Semester exams are conducted in the examination hall.
Other: Our campus life is average. The management does not give freedom to students. Our college is very strict. Few events are conducted in this college.

A journey in college without enjoyment.
Placements: There are no placements at this college, only internships are offered. There are a lot of internships and companies to work for. We want to request to pay more money for internships. It depends on the company and we want placements for this college.
Infrastructure: There are less number of classes. All classrooms do not have smart boards so we want to change class for smart boards. There is no space for all classrooms. There is no campus to enjoy our college life. Hostel is good and food quality is average. There are a lot of rooms to stay.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They provide a lot of knowledge. They are highly qualified. They help us with any project and also fashion shows. They help to know about so many fashion things. They are very friendly but there are enough teachers to teach.
Other: College life is very bad. There is no party and enjoyment in this college. It is a dry college and also no compound to sit.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty, there is no placements for B.Com graduates.
Placements: There is no placement and there is no internship provided by the college.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel for boys, the quality of the food in canteen is good but there is just tea and snacks, sports and games are good. There is a pretty much big library with many good books and there is a football and basketball ground. There is an auditorium. Wi-Fi is provided in the campus and the classrooms are good too.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and are really helpful and knowledgeable and the quality of the teaching was good but during some time it felt like I was still studying in a school because the teachers were strict. The course curriculum was relevant and there is no practical teachings so the students are not industry ready. The semester exams are tough as it is conducted by calicut university.
Other: I chose Bachelor of commerce with computer application because accounting is a best field for job opportunities and as the world is changing to computerised technologies learning computer application will be good. College conducts various events, fests and extracurricular activities.

B.A. in English Literature with Journalism - Batch of 2019
3.4

A good college (only) for academics!
Placements: I am an alumnus of 2019 B.A. English Literature batch. This college is one of the best among self financing colleges in the district. Peaceful atmosphere and provides a good academic environment. The only problem is the small college campus. One step outside the college, you're into the Calicut city. Apart from academics, there's little platform for you to express yourself. If you've to enjoy your college life, you've to make your own efforts. Talking about placements, there are lot of opportunities for those who completed fashion designing, hotel management and master in business economics etc. There is no direct campus placement, but the opportunities these courses provide are wide.
Infrastructure: There is no wi-fi across the campus, but you can use the free internet facility provided in the library. Computer labs, fashion labs and hotel management labs are high class. Classrooms are spacious but some are congested. There is a good library to read and refer from. There is hostel facility for girls. For boys there are, cheap and affordable PG facilities outside the college itself.
Faculty: The English department of this college is academically great. Teachers are highly qualified and cooperative. The teaching quality is also very good. You get a lot to learn from them. The curriculum of this course according to be University of Calicut. It is relevant, updated and interesting to study.
Other: The reason why I chose English literature is because I wanted my language to get better. I am an aspiring journalism student and I think it is better to take English literature that going for journalism courses. This way, you can get your language improved and then opt for any Diploma courses in journalism.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2027

It's the goal that matters!
Placements: As I'm still pursing BBA, I don't know about placements. I'll only get to know about them after completing my course. The starting salary of a BBA student is like 10 LPA to 20 LPA I guess. About the college internships, the faculty members are saying they are searching for companies for internships. Only a few of them responded and that too without a stipend. As I'm a 1st year student I think we'll only be able to get a sales role because we have no in-person or real experience in hand.
Infrastructure: In my college, there is Wi-Fi available for all classes and class panels are also there. Classrooms are okay but not the rooftop classes. Library is also good but all the books are not there. There is a Wi-Fi connection in library. Computer labs are also good with A/C and many computers. There are 2 labs I guess. I'm a day scholar, so I don't know about the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are good at doing their jobs. They try their best to guide us. They also give their best. Some teachers are passionate about their jobs. The curriculum is tough but the students only know what is in the book infact, we are not getting any hands-on experience. It's a main issue. The exams were difficult because we only get 3 to 3 and half months to cover the full syllabus.
Other: I chose the course because it was my dream, no it's my goal. I wanted to get an MBA. It's been on my mind since I passed 10th. So I took BBA. In BBA I think the students have to get to know what really happens in the business world like what to do, how to do and when to do. Students should know that they have to do jobs in companies more than they spend their time in college studying books. College events are amazing. And they should do some open events in college.
