I'm having a really bad experience and I'm regretting joining this college.
Placements: Our senior didn't get any placement opportunity, despite our college claiming to give 100% placement. However, their terms say that we need to have an average of above 75% score in exams, but no one scores near 75%. They say that students should not fail in any subject, but they intentionally fail students at least once to avoid committing to job placements. If any student gets a job, the college pays them to say he/she got the job because of the college.
Infrastructure: College don't have their own hostel, they outsource hostels and it is really bad. As for the courses, they only teach what they choose, and then expect students to know everything. They have different courses but they teach the same stuff. The college takes money for almost everything, even for non-important facilities, and always finds a way to take as much money as possible from students.
Faculty: We are supposed to write exams in Chennai and the college doesn't support it even a bit. Sometimes we have to stay in Chennai for almost 10 days and we have to pay for all expenses by ourselves. They don't teach anything for exams instead, provide a PDF at the last minute to study and pass.
Other: There is nothing good about this college or courses they provides. They provide a collaboration programme from a university in Chennai and I have also heard students say that the degree they give has no value.

Totally dissatisfied with the college.
Placements: These guys said that only ten people from our class would get proper placements on campus. The college provides low job options. These guys said they would give us a proper job, but still, we are not sure that we will get any jobs from this college. Even I have decided that I will do something like doing any other courses to get a job. I'm 21 now, I need to work, or else my 12 lakhs will be a waste.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college are very bad. The Wi-Fi is the worst as is don't even give 50 Kbps speed. The toilets are generally clean. There is no place to play any outdoor games. They don't have any proper study labs where the college would provide us with any system to work on. These guys have an auditorium which not been furnished since the last ten years I guess.
Faculty: This is the worst thing in the college because they don't even have a proper curriculum for studies and the tutors are not professionals, and the course is outdated. We used to have modules, and these guys don't even have a proper module launch. And these guys neglect to study some module for which we have to give exams. They usually say, from the next semester, we will teach you this module.
Other: If you ever get a chance to join this college, never go to this college. This is a waste of time for the whole three years. Better try something else like go for any other course. For me, I will try to do MBA or web designing because I know nothing is coming out of this college. So better think about career and do something about it.

Industry-focused curriculum with decent facilities.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students are placed. The highest package is good, and the average is moderate. Companies like Technicolour, MPC, Rockstar, and Byju's recruited. Nearly 60-70% got internships in studios and startups. Roles included Game Artist, Designer, Animator, and VFX Artist.
Infrastructure: ICAT offers good Wi-Fi, equipped labs, smart classrooms and a helpful library. Hostel facilities are average, and the mess food is decent, with a better canteen. Basic medical support is available. Sports options are limited, but overall, the campus is suitable for creative courses.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and experienced, and the teaching is practical-focused. The curriculum is industry-relevant with strong software and project training. Semester exams are moderate and mostly practical, so passing is easy. Overall pass percentage is around 85-95%.

Review of ICAT Design and Media College.
Placements: Placements in our college are bad. It will try to place you at a small-scale startup. It is very hard to set an interview with a good company. Students also struggle to find an internship here because of a lack of proper study structure and no portfolio. It is below expectations.
Infrastructure: It has a good infrastructure, but it is not enough as promised during admission. It is still adjustable. Students who have no idea about it may struggle with their studies at first. The fee is not exactly up to the mark when compared to the teaching they do. So it is an average college.
Faculty: The course is average. I will rate it 6 out of 10 as something is evolving and new to study in today's education. There is a struggle in finding good teachers for the exact study module. Some teachers are helpful, and some are not helpful.

ICAT is very good and I am proud to be an icatian.
Placements: ICAT Design and Media college has got a lot successful and brilliant students who went out of country like to Belgium,Dubai etc. Speaking of salary most of them get the least around 15 or 18k per month. Most students who studied here comes back to take higher studies from here so that they can keep the relation with the college.
Infrastructure: Even though the building is not as big as the some colleges the building has more than enough space to accommodate the accepted students. The WiFi speed is descent and all students have access to it. Class rooms are the best and the class rooms can be modified by the students.
Faculty: I'd say that ICAT has the best faculty you can ever ask for, they are so understanding and loving. As the teaching part they do their work so perfectly. The college has at least one teacher who knows the subject very well. The IVs are so useful and informative. The course is super interesting if the students cooperate with the teachers.
