Joining this college is one of the biggest regret of my entire life. They just give false promises.
Placements: Our batch have never even seen a company walk in to the campus. when I joined here, I was promised to get placements from Rockstar, Ubisoft, etc. but never experienced it in real life. To put it out simply, any company that you mention, they say that they are in touch with the industry's major heads. But its a big lie! Don't spend a single rupee in joining this worthless institute!
Infrastructure: The infrastructure just doesn't seem like a 'college' at all. Moreover, its just a mediocre office building that might have been converted into a so called institute. Its purely built just to mint money and scam out of innocent students. The classrooms are crammed. The ACs don't work in many rooms. The PCs aren't up to the mark, some had missing CPUs too. Although, the library proved to be a bit useful for completing the assignments. The VFX lab have some sort of quality equipment, but in terms of gaming department, there is indeed nothing. As for the hostel is concerned, there simply isn't one. They just relocate you to a low grade PG room, which they have tie ups with, which of course is just to loot more money. You can find a better and more economical PG by yourself, even if you are new to the city.
Faculty: The faculty here is a big joke. I had one Good VFX lecturer who actually taught me something and showed me the right path, because of him I was able to score 90% in that module as well. Majority of faculty members here are lazy, incompetent and sometimes too rude. The teachers engage in favoritism. I have faced racism from some of these people as well. The curriculum is severely flawed, no proper direction is provided. The faculty always threats you that they'll fail you just for timely submissions. They will insult your work, call you names and even harass you. I faced it all. The exams here are a joke, they mail you a digital material to prepare just before a few days of the exam, but moreover, you just have to write enough pages to pass, that's all.
Other: I only chose this course of B.A. B.Sc. Game Art And Design for Two reasons. Firstly, to skip Engineering and secondly because of my passion for video games. But now I seriously regret having wasted my parent's hard earned money by joining here. My passion is literally lost now because of this horrible experience I've had here. There isn't anything worthy to mention about the time I had here. 3 years of my time, my expenses and my money has all gone down the drain. I wanted to sue this college, but alas I'm not influential and I can't afford a Lawyer either. Its a huge letdown and it gave me anxiety issues, depression and PTSD too.
