IBS Hyderabad admission to MBA course is based on IBSAT score. IBSAT or IBS Aptitude Test  is a national-level entrance exam conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (deemed to be University) for admission to MBA course. IBSAT is a two-hour Computer-based test (CBT) comprising multiple-choice questions. IBSAT is a computer-based test that is generally conducted over a window of two days in December.

Candidates who have qualified any of the accepted national-level entrance exams like CAT/ NMAT/ GMAT/ XAT are exempted from appearing for IBSAT. The shortlisted candidates are further called for a GDPI round. IBS Hyderabad also considers the academic qualifications of the aspirants for final selection.

The mode of application is both online and offline. The application fees for BBA is INR 750 and INR 1,800 for MBA. Check below the steps to apply for IBS Hyderabad admission:

Download of application form: Those willing to download the filled-in form and submit the hard copy can also do so by downloading the form from the same source as mentioned above and sending it to the ‘Admission Office’ along with a demand draft.

IFHE offers Merit Scholarship to the students pursuing BBA course. The scholarships are based on past academic record in Class 12 and semester-wise performance during the BBA course.

• Merit scholarships based on past academic record:

Students of IBS Hyderabad are awarded merit scholarships based on aggregate in Class 12 or equivalent. These scholarships will continue semester after semester only if the students maintain a minimum 6.0 GPA in the previous semester. The details are as presented in the following table.

Note: The above scholarship amount is adjusted equally in six instalments across each semester fee.

• Physically Challenged candidates
• Wards of defence personnel (in-service/ retired) from army, airforce, navy and paramilitary forces

Candidates need to pass Class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 50% aggregate and above in English Medium to apply for IBS Hyderabad BBA course. Aspirants must also meet the minimum age requirements as prescribed by the respective board via which the student has appeared for the qualifying exam. If an applicant is found ineligible even at a later date, after admission into the programme will be cancelled.

Applicants who have appeared for Class 12 or equivalent and awaiting results are also eligible to apply provided they are done with their exams (including practical exams).

IBSAT 2024 registration will commence in first week of July 2024 and candidates will be able to register themselves on the official website at general.ibsindia.org. IBSAT scores are accepted by nine ICFAI Business Schools (IBS), namely IBS Hyderabad, IBS Mumbai, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Pune, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Jaipur, and IBS Dehradun. • A pass in graduation in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate and above marks with medium of instruction as English is required to apply for MBA course. All applicants should have completed 15 years of education.
• Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation have to submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score by May 31 of the admission year.
• Applicants in their final year bachelor's degree course are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements (including practical examinations/ viva/ assignments) before May 31 of the admission year.

Aspirants must fulfill the minimum age requirements as prescribed by the respective board via which the student has appeared for the qualifying exam. IBSAT 2026 registrations will commence tentatively on July 01. Candidates seeking admission to MBA/PGDM programme of ICFAI Business School campuses can fill the online application form on or before the last date. IBSAT 2026 application form last date will be notified. Candidates filling the IBSAT application form 2026 must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria, failing which their candidature will stand cancelled. As per the IBSAT eligibility criteria, a candidate must be a graduate with a required minimum percentage. Also, candidates appearing in the final examination ofa  qualifying degree will be eligible for IBSAT exam. Only candidates who complete the application form and pay the application fee will be issued the IBSAT admit card.
