ICSI Delhi Admission Process 2025

Q&A Icon
Commonly asked questions
On Admissions
Q:   How can I get admission to ICSI Delhi?
A:

Candidates seeking admission shall first check the eligibility conditions. For the CS course, candidates need to take the CSEET entrance exam. The candidates applying after graduation are exempted from the entrance test but must meet the eligibility criteria. Further, to become a CS, candidates have to first take the CSEET exam or the CS executive exam and finally the CS professional exam. Additionally, a certificate course on the valuation of securities/financial assets is offered jointly by ICSI and ICSI RVO. Admission to this course is subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria.

Q:   Are admissions at ICSI Delhi entrance-based or merit-based?
A:

ICSI Delhi accepts applications only through entrance. As an example, the CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is required for entrance for the Company Secretary (CS) foundation course. ICSI Delhi also chooses the deserving students for its merit scholarship programme through a computer-based competitive exam only. Hence entrance exams are necessary to take admission and gain scholorship at ISCI Delhi.

Q:   Is ICSI Delhi hard to get?
A:

A prestigious academy, ICSI Delhi has a kindly grueling admissions process. Merit-grounded admissions are used, and each time's cut-off scores are different. The admission threshold for ICSI Delhi's Foundation Course in 2023 was 50. still, the conditions for admission to the Professional and Administrative programs are generally advanced, ranging from 60 to 70. The pupil must have passed the 12th or original examination. You should have passed the Foundation Course of ICSI and would have a good chance of being admitted to ICSI Delhi if you meet the eligibility conditions and are admitted with a score higher than the cut-off. It's pivotal to flashback that the quantum of competition for each degree and the number of campaigners each time might affect how delicate it is to get into.

A very pleasant experience.
Placements: I find graduation from the company secretary course very rewarding. Our batch had over 90% placements, while others were employed by direct interviews or were accepted in other processes. The deals range from 6 LPA to 25 LPA. The top hiring companies were Amazon, TCS, and Infosys.
Infrastructure: The surroundings and the environment of the campus were quite good, to be honest. The classrooms or lecture halls had all the amenities, including air conditioning, fans, tables, mics, sound speakers, etc. I loved how the compact space was used to utilize the classroom space.
Faculty: The teachers were so helpful and very amazing. They used to help us in every assignment they used to give us. In fact, if we were late in submission, they would not even scold us and would give us extra time. The course is very relevant for my future, and all the exams are conducted once a year.

Absolutely satisfied after pursuing CS as a career option.
Placements: In this course, placement depends on the knowledge and talent of the student. The lowest package of a CS is 50,000 per month. Every company that has a turnover of more than or equal to 10 crore (get updated) has to appoint a company secretary. An internship is mandatory for every student in the name of training. After passing the executive stage, a student is eligible for training or an internship in any company or firm. The top role of company secretary is working as compliance officer.
Infrastructure: Always 5 on 5 as they are providing us with much better facilities like fully air-conditioned classrooms, canteens, restrooms (which are so clean), and every facility's qualities are superb. Even I recommend every student who are going or trying to pursue a career in law background with corporate should pursue company secretary course.
Faculty: The teachers are so experienced and knowledgeable. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant for the students who are trying to pursue a career in corporate law. Exams are 9 out of 10 on the scale of difficulty. The results are so low compared to any other professional course, but the results are worth it. You will get to know when you start your journey.
