What are the minimum eligibility requirements for admission to PGP at IIM Ahmedabad?

To be eligible for IIM Ahmedabad MBA admissions, a candidate needs to pass a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a UGC-recognised university after at least 12 years of school education with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PwD candidates). Candidates, appearing for the final year of their bachelor's degree with final year results awaiting, can also apply. However, such candidates, if selected, will be granted provisional admission, only if a candidate submits a pre-final certificate signed by competent authorities of the previous institute/ university, the latest by June 30 of the year of admission.

One of the best colleges, which I can suggest to my friends.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in our college is 85 percent. The highest package is 55 lakhs per annum, the lowest package is 11 lakhs per annum, and the average package is 27 lakhs per annum. In the future, it will increase because the top companies that came to this college are Accenture, BCG, Tata, etc. Seventy-five percent of students got an internship in BCG companies. The two roles offered in our course are web skills and a few ideas about accounting.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and the classrooms are well cleaned and the departments are designed and cleaned. They provide an Wi-Fi facilities and they provide library with card and we can take any of the books which we want and later we can give back to them. The hostel is very good and hygienic and the quality of food is also good. They provide Wi-Fi and hot water and facilities also they provide sports kits to play for us in free times.

Faculty: The teachers are good and graduated. They are knowledgeable and help us in learning. The course is related to the curriculum, which helps us to be industry-ready. The semesters are not difficult if we read, but we have to work hard for that. The pass percentage is 55 percent.

I would recommend this college.

Placements: At my college, the placement rate is high. I also got placed in BCG group with a package of 20 Lacs per annum. My friend got placed in Amazon with a package of 25 lakh per annum. The placement department is very helpful.

Infrastructure: The course is really nice. You just need to learn the basic concepts. You can cover the whole course very well. The course is structured in such an amazing way that students can enjoy it while learning it. The infrastructure of campus is excellent.

Faculty: The faculty are awesome. The faculty members are so lovely and friendly. They help us at every point of time. The teachers are highly educated and knowledgeable. Its nice to be here. They make us industry ready. Semester exams are not tough.

I collect memorable memories from IIM Ahmedabad.

Placements: Campus placement would start from the first month itself in terms of internships. The final placements would start from the beginning of the 2nd year and would go till everyone is placed. This year (2022) the highest package offered was 45 lacs with an average of around 16 lacs yearly. There are 100% placements.

Infrastructure: The room was small with two roommates, and we were provided with all the amenities such as Wi-Fi, drinking water etc. The meals were above par but would lack variety and is not for the health conscious. The registration would be done through initially an application that would be passed on to hostel management and as per availability, you would be placed in one of the hostels.

Faculty: I wanted to study the different peripherals of business and management. While I am not aware of the exact ratios, it must have been around 1:7 faculty students ratio. All our professors were highly qualified having published multiple papers and were leaders in their area. The teaching was mostly case based and the profs encouraged discussion and self-thinking. The term exams were at the end of each semester, and were easy to pass but sometimes difficult to score really high.

IIM Ahmedabad admission to MBA course is based on CAT scores followed by the Analytical Writing Test (AWT) & Personal Interview (PI). The Institute does not release the final CAT cutoff publicly. No, one can't join IIM without CAT. Candidates seeking admission to the IIM Ahmedabad MBA course must appear for CAT. The institute sends call letter to aspirants with score equal or above qualifying cutoff for Analytical Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
