IIM Sambalpur Courses & Fees 2026: UG, PG, Doctorate Courses

IIM Sambalpur has three hostel buildings, two for boys and one for girls. The rooms are provided to the students of IIM Sambalpur on a twin-sharing basis. The campus is wifi enabled. For the purpose of students' leisure activities, each hostel has its own common room where televisions and table tennis equipment are installed.

At the moment, there is no provision for married students, which means they can't live in a hotel with their families. For students, staying at the dormitory is mandatory. In each dorm, essential equipment such as a washing machine, refrigerator, and TV are available.

IIM Sambalpur and IIM Jammu both are ranked by NIRF in its 2025 rankings under the 'Management' category. Talking about placements, the overall average package offered to IIM Sambalpur students was INR 15.65 LPA whereas, it stood at INR 16.04 LPA for IIM Jammu. IIM Sambalpur offers courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels. The institute offers MBA, Executive MBA and MBA for Working Professionals at PG level. Aspirants have to apply for CAT for MBA. For all other courses, candidates have to apply on the official website of IIM Sambalpur. Below is the course-wise application fees:

IIM Sambalpur fee includes tuition fee, refundable caution deposit and other components. The other fees component comprises of Career Development Services, SAC Activity charges and Alumni charge. These components are to be paid only in Term-1 and Term-4.

IIM Sambalpur offers a two-year full-time residential course at the PG level. The institute also offers MBA in Business Analytics. The first year of MBA in BA is offered in the Delhi campus of IIM Sambalpur. In the subsequent year, students have an option to pursue dual degree course at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand.

Candidates must complete a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate to apply for Executive MBA at IIM Sambalpur. Aspirants must also have a minimum of three-years of post qualification managerial/ entrepreneurial or professional experience.

During IIM Sambalpur final placement for 2023-2025 batch, the highest CTC offered to MBA students was INR 48.60 LPA. The highest secured CTC was INR 32.95 LPA. The data presented above is reported up to March 31.

Aspirants have to first pass CAT for selection. 3. Preparation of Merit List based for final Admission offers on the performance of the candidate in the PI Round and other Admission Criteria 

Alumni of IIMs or any University or Institute in NIRF Top 50 ranking list are exempted from taking the entrance test.

Part-time/ Distance Learning / evening/ weekend programmes are not considered for the exemption.
