IIM-U rules decree that a student who does not score the required number of grade points at the end of the first year may have to repeat it. But every student has to complete the two-year course in a maximum of three years. Those who fail the first year a second time are forced to drop out.The hard part is if you are repeating the first year you need to pay the entire tution fees again.That means a straight increase of around 35–40% of the fee for the entire course . IIM Udaipur offers two year MBA course. The admission procedure for MBA at IIM Udaipur starts with qualifying CAT examination, followed by shortlisting of candidates for Personal Interview. PI is conducted in online mode as per the guidelines of CAP. And finally a Merit List is prepared based on the CAT score, PI score and Profile score.
