Yes, it is possible to join IISER Mohali - Indian Institute of Science Education & Research without JEE. The eligibility criteria for admission to the BS (four-year) degree program at IISER Mohali:
Candidates who have qualified Class XII (or equivalent) examination in science stream either in the year 2022 or 2023 can apply to the BS (four-year) degree program.
Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics during their Class XII (or equivalent) exam.
Candidates seeking admission under the State and Central Boards (SCB) channel do not have to appear for IAT-2023.

IISER Mohali doesn't provide a BSc course, the institute only offers admission to BS-MS dual programme. For admissions in IISER Mohali candidates have to appear either in the JEE advanced exam, KVPY exam or SCB exam. 

• To apply, fill out the IISER Mohali application form and submit it based on any one of three admission channels (JEE Advanced, KVPY or SCB).
• Candidates who are shortlisted will be required to attend counselling. After acquiring qualifying marks, candidates will be selected according to the merit list.

IISER Mohali prioritises the comfort of students and faculty members and ensures the campus has modern facilities and infrastructure. Some of the facilities are listed below:

Medical Centre: To provide basic first aid facilities to students, staff and faculty members, the university has a medical centre within campus premises.

Library: The library of the varsity was established in 2007. There are a number of books, journals, publications etc. for dual degree and PhD students. The scholars of the university can find research related materials at the library.

Sports: IISER Mohali has an athletic track, basketball court, badminton court, table tennis court, cricket and football ground at the campus. Students can use sports facilities during their free time to refresh their minds.

The expected IIser Mohali cutoff is generally out in the month of October itself and for BS+MS based on the basic of JEE advanced 2023 is 

IISER Mohali is slight hard to get as its admission and selection is based on various entrance exam. For Bsc admissions its JEE Main and JEE advanced which are to be considered. There is also one more college level entrance exam which is IISER entrance exam to get throught this college. Geeting a good score in these entrance exams is a challenge and depends upon the rank you score. In Bsc the rank considered by the institute was around 2229. 

Hello Nishar Ahmed, admissions to Indian Institute of Science Education and Research can be taken via any of the three routes, by appearing for JEE advanced examination or KVPY or through the admission test conducted by this Institute itself. You can definitely get admission in this Institute since you have scored 70% in your 12th standard while eligibility criteria for general category students is kept at 60%. Of course with 70% you cannot take JEE advanced since there the eligibility is at 75%. But you can follow the path of entrance exam conducted by this Institute. Earlier, we had our admissions on  merit based so it was generally after our 12th results are out. But recently this system has been changed and hence a new system is introduced i.e. CUET exams. So there isn't any specific date that when forms would be out. But according to this, we can conclude that after the declaration of cuet results every college does their application forms out for admission. Hence Deen dayal upadhyay college does the same.

IISER does not provide BSc course. It offers BSMS course. BSMS offers candidates a Bachelor's degree in Science (BS) and a Master's degree in Science (MS). These BS and MS courses are different from BSc course as they focus more on research aspects.

IISER kolkata BS and MS course rated 3.5 out of 5 by verified student while IISER mohali in same course rated 4.3 out of 5 by 35 students. Total fees for the BS /MS dual degree program in IISER Kolkata is INR 3.27 lakh for 5 years while in IISER Mohali it is INR 1.62 Lakh for 5 years. The infrastucture rating by the students from IISER kolkata is 3.9 and from the students of IISER Mohali is 4.3.

IIT Roorkee is accredited by NAAC and is approved by AICTE and UGC. Established in 1847, IIT Roorkee is the seventh IIT recognised as an Institution of National Importance. It is a public-technical research university located in Uttarakhand. It is the oldest technical institution in Asia that was given university status in 1949. The university offers 14 undergraduate (UG), 24 postgraduate (PG), and various other PhD courses to the students through its school, and 23 departments across the fields of Engineering, Science, Architecture, Management, and Social Sciences. As per the placement report, the institute has achieved a 100% placement rate during the MBA placement drive of 2023. The highest package offered stood at INR 27.94 LPA.

From the above-mentioned information, candidates can choose between IISER Mohali and IIT Roorkee.

Jee advanced Cutoff for admission in IISER Mohali - Indian Institute of Science Education & Research for integrated BS-MS course is 14500th rank for general category and 9100 rank in OBC NCL category. Its 3600 rank for SC category and 5200 rank for Genral-Ews category cut off for IISER Mohali.

kvpy cutoff rank is around 1433, iat cut off rank is around 2279.

IISER Mohali is famous for its Phd's and BS- MS dual degree courses. It has been ranked as 50 by NIRF ranking to be anomgst the top research institute in India. It also offers 11 courses in science stream only. The fees paid for these courses is also reasonable amongst the other colleges. Also , IISER Mohali is giving good placement package. The median package offered by the college was 8 lpa. It is one of the most popular courses known for its science courses and fees.

Once IISER result is declared, a seat allotment list is declared containing roll numbers of candidates who are allocated seats in BS-MS programmes. Candidates can check the first round allotment list on the official website of the exam tentatively by the second week of July 2026. All candidates whose roll numbers appear in the first round allotment list need to log in to their application portal to download the offer letters.
