IMI Kolkata offers two years PGDM programme equivalent to MBA. As per the guidelines laid by the institution avalid CAT/XAT and CMAT score are required for admission to PGDM programme. So there is a possibilty for candidates to get into IMI Kolkata without CAT as they can always opt for the alternate entrance exam.  

To apply for PGDM in IMI Kolkata candidates first should be eligible for the programme. Secondly they must a have a valid CAT/XAT and CMAT scores. Candidates have to fill the online application form and submit it along with the non-refundable application fee and other required documents. Candidates will be shortlisted on the  basis of CAT/XAT and CMAT score. The shortlisted candidates are called for the Individual Assessment Process (Essay Writing and Personal Interview etc.). Yes, IMI Kolkata does offer certificate course. Post Graduate Certificate in Financial Market (PGCFM) and Certificate Programme in Data Science is the two certificate in IMI Kolkata. PGCFM is an eleven months executive weekends programme which specialises in Financial Market. Whereas, Data Science covers a duration of seven months which specialises in intelligence data analysis. After completion of the courses students will be awarded with a professiinal certificate by the Institution. 

IMI Kolkata offers courses in Diploma and doctoral-level. The flagship course offered by the Institute is Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). PGDM is two years full-time programme with summer internship with Institute’s partners. In second year candisates can choose their interested specialisation : Finance, Economics, Operational Management, OBHR (Organisational Behaviour), Marketing, Management Information Systems & Analytics and Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
