IMI Kolkata offers two years PGDM programme equivalent to MBA. As per the guidelines laid by the institution avalid CAT/XAT and CMAT score are required for admission to PGDM programme. So there is a possibilty for candidates to get into IMI Kolkata without CAT as they can always opt for the alternate entrance exam.  

To apply for PGDM in IMI Kolkata candidates first should be eligible for the programme. Secondly they must a have a valid CAT/XAT and CMAT scores. Candidates have to fill the online application form and submit it along with the non-refundable application fee and other required documents. Candidates who have a bachelor's or equivalent degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible for the IMI Kolkata Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)  programme. The bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification of the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education, class 10 and  class 12 school education. Additionally, candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor's degree are also eligible, provided they furnish proof of meeting he minimum eligibility criteria by September 30, 2025. Yes, IMI Kolkata does offer certificate course. Post Graduate Certificate in Financial Market (PGCFM) and Certificate Programme in Data Science is the two certificate in IMI Kolkata. PGCFM is an eleven months executive weekends programme which specialises in Financial Market. Whereas, Data Science covers a duration of seven months which specialises in intelligence data analysis. After completion of the courses students will be awarded with a professiinal certificate by the Institution. 

IMI Kolkata offers courses in Diploma and doctoral-level. The flagship course offered by the Institute is Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). PGDM is two years full-time programme with summer internship with Institute’s partners. Yes, IMI Kolkata does accepts CAT score for admission to MBA level programmes. A valid CAT score is required to pass the selection process of IMI Kolkata like any other MBA Institution. CAT 2023 exam date is November 26. CAT 2023 registration had  commenced from August 2 at the iimcat.ac.in website and the last date to apply is September 13, 2023. The required fee for the CAT exam is  INR 2,300 to INR 2,400 for General category candidates and from INR 1,150 to INR 1200 for Reserved category candidates.
