FPM ( Fellow Programme In Management) is a doctoral-level programme offered by IMI Kolkata. The course covers a duration of four years. The eligibility criteria is to have a first class score in Master's degree. EFPM is a four years duration programme which can be completed within one year in exceptional cases. The programme consist of two phases involves  two years of course work  followed by a comprehensive examination (CE). The second phase requires scholars to work on their thesis. This involves the preparation of thesis proposal, pursuing research on this proposal and finally an examination based on the thesis leading to FPM. Overall EFPM prepares scholars for careers in research, teaching and consultancy in technical and theoretical disciplines underlying business administration.
