Good college. It can be chosen wisely.
Placements: I am from IMS Engineering College Ghaziabad. It is the only college in Ghaziabad offering a B.Tech Biotechnology course. Most students are placed in research roles or opt for higher studies, and many clear GATE with good AIR ranks. The average salary is about 3–4 LPA. The top recruiters are Haldiram, beverages companies, etc. Most students go for internships, and the college itself helps with training. The top roles offered are Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. There is almost half a floor reserved for the biotechnology department labs, which are well-equipped and functioning well. There are all kinds of machines required for experiments. The main girls’ hostel is under construction, but the temporary one is also nice and lively.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, helpful, kind, supportive, and approachable. The course curriculum is quite good. There are two clubs in the department, BIOCOM and GEMES, which conduct various programs to make students more outspoken. The passing marks for semester exams are 21 out of 70 in AKTU exams and 19 out of 30 internally to clear the exam. The departmental faculty are good, helpful, understanding, and supportive. They try their best to guide us and are mostly Ph.D. and IITian faculty.

Placements: The placement situation of the 2026 batch is good. The average package on our campus is 6–7 LPA. Our college provides support through sessions, training, aptitude classes, and placement practice. Overall, the batch performs well in placements. Most students secure good jobs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is quite good. High-speed Wi-Fi is available 24/7 across the campus. Every classroom is equipped with a smart board. It makes lectures more engaging and easier to follow. The library is decent and has most of the books required for the course.
Faculty: Most faculty members are helpful, qualified, and have good knowledge of their subjects. Curriculum covers the fundamental concepts of the course. It provides a good academic foundation. College organizes seminars, workshops, and training sessions.

Overall, it's a good college.
Placements: According to me, my college, IMS Engineering College, is the best in Delhi NCR. In my Computer Science and Engineering department, most of the students get placed. Here, the highest package is 32.5 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Companies like Coforge, HCL, etc. come, and students get placed. Almost 90% of students get placed every year in my CSE department.
Infrastructure: Here in IMSEC College, infrastructure is very good. It feels very spacious. Classrooms, AC, fans, and smart boards are also available. Classrooms, library, Wi-Fi, and labs are very good. Hostel of this college is also good. Mess food is much better than that at other colleges. They also give food if you are fasting for a festival. So overall, they provide facilities in a very good way. Medical facilities and sports are also good.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and qualified. Teachers also support and help those students who are not able to speak or feel hesitant. Their teaching quality is also good. It also helps students become industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult, but if students study, they will definitely pass the semester exam with a good percentage.
Other: Overall, my experience is good. I chose this course because I want to get a job in the field of technology. The best thing about my course is that all the work can be done remotely. The improvement is to study in a better way. Events, fests, connectivity, and scholarships are also available for students. Overall, this college is the best in the Delhi NCR region.

Good and helpful faculty.
Placements: Many students clear GATE with good AIR ranks, and students generally get placed in companies like Haldiram, Nestlé, and other beverage companies. The average salary package is about 3–4 LPA. Internships are provided to many students, and the college helps in training them to improve their skills. The roles offered include Lab Researcher, Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), and positions in pharmaceutical companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, and half of an entire floor is reserved for the Biotechnology department laboratories. Labs are well-equipped and in good working condition, with all the machines required for experiments. The main girls' hostel is under construction, but the temporary hostel is also nice and lively. Labs provide hands-on experience and are well-equipped.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, helpful, kind, supportive, and approachable. The course curriculum is quite good. There are two departmental clubs, BIOCOM and GEMES, which conduct various programs to help students become more confident and outspoken. The passing marks in the semester exam are 21 out of 70 in the main AKTU examination and 19 out of 30 in the internal assessment to clear the exam. The departmental faculty members are good, helpful, understanding, and supportive. They try their best to guide us and are mostly Ph.D. holders and IITian faculty members. Overall, faculty is good and knowledgeable.
Other: I chose this course because I am a biology student in Class 12. There are not many options available to me. Among all the courses, this one fascinates me the most. One thing I would like to improve is providing students with a little more free time to explore their interests, as the schedule is quite tight and offers very little rest. The department organizes its own fest. The college also conducts a major cultural fest called VIBGYOR, a tech fest in October–November, the sports fest SANGRAAM, along with freshers' and farewell events. Fests are conducted regularly as needed. The college also helps students avail scholarships if they fulfill the eligibility criteria.I am from IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad. It is one of the few colleges in Ghaziabad offering B.Tech in Biotechnology.

Good college with an average 6 LPA to 8 LPA package.
Placements: My college is average in placement cases, and most of the time students get placed off-campus. The average package is approximately 6 LPA to 8 LPA depending on the student, and the highest is 50 LPA. 3 students got 50 LPA packages, but it was off-campus, and recently a senior got a package of 35 LPA. Students have to do an internship by themselves in 1st and 2nd year but can get support from the college and the college allows internships in the 3rd year.
Infrastructure: About facilities we have an average or above average infrastructure. College has a proper Wi-Fi, laboratory, and classrooms with AC in them, a proper-sized library, stationery, canteen, and a cafe for leisure time, a playground, and a mess. Our college also has a gym facility.
Faculty: Teachers are excellent and have a good knowledge of the course. They are motivating and very helpful if you are trying something out of the box. The course curriculum makes you ready for the work and needs of the industry but somewhere it is outdated and lacks the vision needed for industry usage. Semester exams are really electives and are similar to the university level and almost every important topic is covered.

As per the placement report given by the college, the highest package till now is INR 55 Lacs per annum. That was the greatest placement of that college.
