IIIT Kalyani PhD Eligibility & Highlights 2024
IIIT Kalyani PhD is a doctoral programme spread across various specialisations. Under this programme, students can choose from various fields to specialise in, including Engineering, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences. These courses are offered in full-time mode.
Moreover, the minimum duration of the PhD programme (excluding dropped semester(s)/maternity leave) is four semesters after registration. The maximum duration of the PhD programme is 12 semesters from the date of admission for a full-time student, of which he can get a fellowship of 10 semesters and 14 semesters for a part-time student. Any further extension can be approved by the competent authority.
Admission to the programmes is entrance-based. Aspirants must check the IIIT Kalyani PhD course eligibility criteria before applying to the college. Tabulated below are the eligibility and selection details:

IIIT Kalyani PhD Fees 2024
The fee structure for IIIT Klayani courses is cumulative of multiple components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, medical insurance, mess and other security deposits, etc. Out of all these fee components, there are a few that are charged once, while others have to be paid semester-wise, such as tuition fees. As per the structure, the tuition fee for PhD courses is INR 29,100.

The modes of IIIT Kalyani admission are offline and online. Admission to various postgraduate and undergraduate courses is based on scores of entrance tests and merit. At the undergraduate level, the college offers four-year BTech courses to students. At the postgraduate level, the college offers two to three-year MTech programmes to students. Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kalyani, West Bengal also provides PhD programmes to students. MTech is provided in two specialisations, namely Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and Advanced Communication Systems and Signal Processing. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main, GATE, and others. Candidates must study according to the JEE Main pattern, attempt the JEE Main question paper, and score well in entrance exams.
JEE Main Round 6, has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per IIIT Kalyani JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 37195 for General category candidates in All India quota for Computer Science Engineering. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

IIIT Kalyani PhD Admission 2024: How to Apply?
The application for IIIT Kalyani PhD course admission can be filled out online. The guidelines involved in form-filling are as follows:
- Students should go to the verified website of the institute, i.e., iiitkalyani.ac.in.
- Do the registration by giving some imp. details.
- Then, upload imp. documents, and pay the application fee.
The documents needed at the time of admission are:

- HSC and SSC marksheets
- UG mark sheets and pass certificate
- No Objection Certificate from current employer (for a sponsored category)
