It has good faculty, and good placements, but bad infrastructure.
Placements: I have given it 4 stars because there are no placements for low grades. Every college should have some criteria or anything for low grades. In IGDTUW, a person should have above 7 CGPA compulsory for placements otherwise there will be no shortlisting. In IGDTUW, till now, the highest package offered is 1 crore per annum for the CSE student who was my senior. The average package offered is 20 LPA. Even internship packages are for 1 LPA or above. Motorq, Amazon, Cisco, Zomato, Google, etc., are the top companies of the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not very cool for the university. The hostel food is hygienic. In labs, computers are outdated. Medical facilities are good. The library is appreciable, but as always, the librarian is strict. The involvement of sports is good but till now as promised by the college the sports fest has never been held.
Faculty: Teachers are brilliant. They have good qualifications and are very cooperative. Exams are brainstorming. The course curriculum is quite relevant but some subjects like disaster management, etc., are a bit out of the box. There is a passing criteria in every subject and one should score 45 marks for passing.
Other: I chose this course because it is in high demand. It is just that the college should do some campaigns and all for low grades for their internship, which I know is hard, but still, they should try. The college has good scholarships and internships anyone can rely on. It should have a good focus on girls' safety. Fees have to be paid on time, which is pretty hard for some people, and even if we talk to higher-ups, they will not agree to pay it in installments.

Good placement states, but college life and fun are not up to the mark.
Placements: The placement states are very nice. Above 80% of students got placed last year. The highest package offered is 1.8 crores, and the average package is 16 LPA. Various big companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and many more hire students from IGDTUW. Almost all the companies offer which came for hiring for full-time roles hire interns. Top roles offered for computer science with artificial intelligence courses are SDE (software development) and data scientist roles.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not as good. There are 4-5 buildings i.e., IT block, CSE-ECE block, MAE block, exam block, and B.Arch block. No specific block for AI department. Classrooms are very less. Ground is also small. There are two hostels, which have their own mess. There is a small gym, and they organise various fun activities for hostellers.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive. They are highly qualified, and all the professors have completed doctorates. Difficulty level of semester exams is medium level. Some faculty members provide resources and study material for preparation which really helps in scoring good marks in exams.
Other: Every year, cultural fest and Taarangana are organised in which they invite big singers. Till now they have invited Javed Ali, Neeti Mohan, Shaan M, and Mohit Chauhan. The quality of the fest is getting higher every year. Many scholarship opportunities are provided to students. There are no sports activities for students. They should provide some areas where students can enjoy college time during free periods. Auditorium is very small that sitting there becomes suffocating even if 3-4 branches go there together.

Masters of Business Administration (MBA) - Batch of 2026

Good college for science stream. Not so much for management course.
Placements: Most jobs offered are in sales, marketing, and HR, and very few are in finance. From what I know, only three students out of a batch of 75 got placed in a Big 4 company. The lowest package is around 3 LPA, the median is 4-5 LPA, and the highest package I’ve seen in my senior batch is 9-10 LPA. Internships are not good at all.
Infrastructure: Labs are not accessible to MBA students. Classrooms are good and air-conditioned. The library is very average. The hostel is also average. Mess food is not great but edible. There are no proper medical facilities. The canteen is basically a small shop with decent food for the price. Sports and games clubs are available, and I’ve seen students practicing on campus.
Faculty: Out of 8 teachers, I found around 3 genuinely knowledgeable in their subjects. While the course curriculum is relevant, some subjects are not taught properly. I don’t feel industry-ready. The pass percentage is around 40-45%. Mid-term exams are easier compared to end-term exams. The papers are challenging but good.
Other: I chose this course hoping for industry exposure. They did incorporate a few webinars and seminars for the same, but nothing else. I wish we had more practical knowledge-based components in the curriculum, like industry visits or innovative projects. For most subjects, you have to study on your own. There have been no fests in the past 5 months. Scholarships are available. Extracurricular activities are present at the university level if one wishes to participate.

A complete overview of IGDTUW.
Placements: Around 80-85% of students get successfully placed, while some choose to drop out for entrepreneurship. The highest package offered goes up to 45 LPA by international companies, while the lowest is around 3 to 4 LPA. The top average package ranges from 10 to 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Deloitte, Google, and Microsoft. About 90% of students receive internship opportunities. The top roles offered are software development engineer and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our department are above average. A place where the classes are held or maintained properly with Wi-Fi connections and air conditioning. The classrooms are tidy, and the library is well-maintained, which is the best part of the university. About the hostel, there are 2 to 4 hostels within the university. The mess is clean, and the canteen is hygienic and affordable. There is a separate medical room for emergencies. Additionally, there is a dedicated basketball court, a badminton court, and a football ground.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is great, and they know what they are doing. They take doubts and answer questions thoroughly. The course curriculum is most relevant, and some topics may not be. Semester exams are easy but can be difficult if you have not studied. The level of preparation that an average student has easily scores around half of the total marks. The passing percentage is 45 out of 100.
Other: I chose this course because I want to go into a business background, as my family is already involved in the same. The best thing about my course is the teachers. If you pay attention in class, you will understand everything. However, I feel that there can be a lot of improvement in our department, the management department. I believe the efforts made for our department compared to others, so there is definitely become better. Events are organized regularly, and there are societies for connectivity.

It has good placements, seniors, fests, and opportunities, outweighing a few other things on campus.
Placements: Placements are better here than in other Delhi Government colleges, Students are required to do internships in their first year only, which gives us more upper hand and experience. The placement cell is very active here. Top companies that frequently recruit students from IGDTUW Delhi are Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon, and other major technology and financial institutions.
Infrastructure: The campus is small, but that thing will be fine with time. Buildings are old. Science block looks are early 2000s infrastructure. The best buildings are the IT block and the administrative block. The worst is mechanical block. Wi-Fi is good and active 24 hours. Hostels and their food are not very appreciated, but that's only okay.
Faculty: Half of the classes get cancelled throughout the semester. A few bunch of teachers are really helpful and qualified and always ready for their students. Semester exams are pretty much from the syllabus only, and we can achieve good marks if we study properly. 30 marks are for mid-semester exams (only if we don't have a lab exam in that subject), and if we have a lab in that subject, then mid-semester is taken for 15 marks. End-semester exams are for 60 marks. 15 marks are for labs and practicals. 10 marks are internal, which depend on our teachers.
Other: My course is ECE-AI, and the benefit of this course is that it gives me a hand in both the software and hardware fields. The chip and semiconductor industry is a rising industry across the world, and this opens more paths than just tech. College fests are remarkable, and events are always consistent and knowledgeable. The campus surroundings are not too good. There are many monkeys, and we can see government wine shops at some distance from the college entrance.

A college that offers you the best placements, exclusive support from seniors, and exposure.
Placements: Placements are top-notch like they can even stand at par with top colleges of the country. This year, around 36 students got into Microsoft alone with a maximum package of 52 LPA. Last year, the highest placement offer was 1 CPA. The highest international offer was 82,000 pounds.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is something I'll suggest you do not even think about connecting to it, it's the worst. The infrastructure is not that good. Since the campus is pretty old, they define it as a heritage campus. The hostel food is very bad. I lost around 4 kgs in 1 week like I didn't have any appetite. Sports are not that much promoted. Medical facilities are there. A canteen is there. It has decent food.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful and qualified. Most of them are knowledgeable but very few know how to teach properly. The course is pretty new and up-to-date. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult. In each subject, you need a minimum of 45 out of 100 to pass.
