Being one of the renowned institutes of India, IIM Mumbai has been ranked by multiple organisations under various categories. Some of the IIM Mumbai rankings are as follows:

• 7th by the NIRF Ranking 2023 (Management category)
• 401-600 under the Impact category by the Times Higher Education 2023

IIM Mumbai offers several scholarship schemes to the candidates on a merit and needs basis. The details regarding the same is GATE-qualified students are entitled to Teaching Assistantship (at present INR12400 per month) and contingency expenditure as per rules. SC/ST students are granted Central Sector Scholarship as per the scheme of Govt. of India subject to the satisfactory fulfilment of terms and conditions mentioned therein. Any student entering the postgraduate programme whose total family income does not exceed Rs 2.50 Lacs in the last financial year shall be eligible for 30% tuition fee waiver and 50% waiver of tuition fee if family income does not exceed Rs 1 Lacs in the last financial year shall be eligible for this scholarship.

Yes, CAT 2025 exam will be conducted in three shifts. The exam was earlier conducted in 2 shifts, but since 2020, the CAT is conducted in three shifts - morning, afternoon and evening. In CAT 2025 too, there will be three slots which will be allotted to applicants in no particular order.

CAT exam slot timings will be -

• First shift: 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 
• Second shift: 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and 
• Third shift: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

For PGDIM course admission, candidates must have satisfy the eligibility criteria and appear for the CAT entrance exam. Indian candidates are shortlisted for the group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) process based on their valid CAT scores subject to meeting the minimum eligibility criteria. On the other hand, international candidates are shortlisted for the group discussion and personal interview process based on GMAT scores, IELTS/ TOEFL (applicable for foreign candidates) and 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree.

Hello, cConsidering the rankings among all the IIMs, it ranks sixth after Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Lucknow, and Kozhikode. Though there isn't a huge difference between it and the latter two. As compared to the new and baby IIMs, it is definitely much better.

Established in 1963, NITIE Mumbai has now been renamed to IIM Mumbai. It received the final stamp with declaration of the Gazette on the Indian Institute of Managements (Amendment) Act 2023, on Wednesday (August 16). Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai (formerly known as NITIE Mumbai) is a Management institute located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The institute has been ranked 7 under ‘Management’ category by the NIRF in 2023. 

IIM Mumbai cutoff is based on CAT 2023 scores followed by the Group Discussion and Personal Interview process. IIM Mumbai formerly known as NITIE offers Post Graduate Diploma in Management course specialisation, including Industrial Management, Industrial Engineering and Sustainability Management.

IIM Mumbai MBA students are taught Supply Chain Management, Business Strategy with Sustainability, Safety Management, Environmental Management, and Corporate Social Responsibility. MBA students can become Product Managers, Marketing Analysts, Business Operations Managers, or can take up any job role relevant to their field and interest. MBA students are placed in top companies such as Microsoft, Goldman Sachs and Pine Labs,  and others.
