Moreover, candidates will be shortlisted based on the CAT 2024 score and other parameters like reservation category, gender diversity, etc. Therefore, to get admission into MBA courses at NITIE, candidates are obliged to secure good scores in CAT.

However, the official website of the institute does mention the information related to the seat reservation for MBA courses i.e, 27% of the seats are reserved for NC-OBC, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST candidates, 5% for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD), and up to 10% for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
