Various prestigious ranking bodies have ranked IIM Mumbai in the recent years. In the NIRF rankings 2025, IIM Mumbai secured the #6 position under the 'Management' category. In order to apply for PGPEX-VLFM courses at IIM Mumbai candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps:1: Download the application form. The form is elaborate and expects students to fill in detailed responses.2: The application portal will be working around the admission time. However, the institute also accepts the filled form emailed and speed posted as part of the student's application packet.3: Ensure attaching the relevant DD and the self-attested certificates.4: There is a separate form for a Letter of Reference (LOR). Candidates can share the link for LOR with their download and share the soft copy of LOR. The filled-in LOR needs to be sent independently and should be received by the VLFM office by the due date.

The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of Parliament.An applicant should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications (of at least three-year degree duration) with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA/Grades from a recognized university/institute after at least 12 years of school education.Holding at least a bachelor's degree/CA/CS/ICWA or equivalent in any discipline. (Minimum 15 years of study as per the education system in India i.e. 10 + 2 + 3 or 4 as the case may be.), with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA, awarded by any of the recognized universities.

IIM Mumbai mainly offers 3 course – MBA/PGDM, PG diploma and certificate - which are PG and UG level degrees. For being eligible to MBA/PGDM, the student must have scored 50% aggregate in graduation. The college accepts the scores of CAT for admission to this course. For certificate course, the students must have passed class 12th from CBSE, ICSE or Maharastra HSC. The total tuition fee for MB/PGDM is INR 14 L. For PG Diploma, it is INR 12.5 L.
