Placements: While the first batch of the BSDS programme at ISI Delhi is yet to graduate, the placement expectations are really high given ISI's unparalleled brand, legends, and legacy in quantitative fields. Top tier firms in finance tech and data Science are already showing a significant interest. The programs are rigorous. The curriculum is designed to produce graduates ready for coveted roles like quantitative analysis and machine learning engineer. All indicators suggest that when placements are considered, they will be among the best in a nation, promising a phenomenal return on investment for its students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at ISI Delhi provides a solid academic environment, though there are some tradeoffs. The classrooms are modern and well equipped with effective air conditioning, creating a comfortable learning space for recreation. All major sports facilities are available on campus, however, a key point for prospective students is the current lack of hostel accommodation, while the mess is of the smallest size. The quality of food is quite good, which is a definite plus for day scholars and those living nearby.

Faculty: The faculty for the BScDS programme at ISI Delhi is truly world class comprising leading researchers and experts in statistics, mathematics, and computer Science. Their deep knowledge is evident in their teaching. BSDS course - ISI Delhi Review.

Placements: Our course was newly launched; hence, there are no placement records available. Also, we are the first undergraduate batch of the Indian Statistical Institute Delhi. However, as far as placements of master's students are concerned, ISI Delhi has a good track record. Most of the students are accepted into multinational companies like Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, Jane Street, and many other quant firms. The highest package goes as high as 90 LPA, and the mean salary goes around 10-20 LPA.

Infrastructure: The course is a mixture of mathematics and computer science. Our classroom is equipped with all the modern facilities like Wi-Fi, projectors, whiteboards, and other things as well. The only problem is that there is no hostel accommodation for students of Bachelor of Statistical Data Science in all the centers, including Delhi.

Faculty: The faculty members teaching us are themselves graduates of top Indian and foreign institutes in the subject, like Ivy League schools, ISI, and IITs. All of them are active researchers in their respective domains of research and attend many international conferences. The semester exams are quite difficult and require a rigorous amount of study. Also, they cannot be passed with one night of studying, as happens in engineering colleges. The course is designed as per the needs of the industry and makes students job-ready. The pass percentage for each course differs but is normally around 80%.

Other: I chose the course because it was a mixture of the subjects that I love. The only improvement I would suggest is to give students hostel accommodation. There are no big fests or other extracurricular activities on campus, like at IITs.

The best two years of my student life to date.

Placements: 100% seniors placed. With the exception of 2 students, everyone got placed. The highest salary 33 lacs pa, 12 lac min. Mostly data analysts roles. Half the cohorts got internships. Stipends ranged from 25000-60000. Yes these is a placement cell with one representative from the faculty and 3 from the student body. Very efficiently run with great transparency in its operation.

Infrastructure: Each classroom is equipped with a projector and computer, and air conditioning. Rooms are well lit and located at a central location. The hostel is located right adjacent to the classrooms. The mess is managed by the students and lives up to a decent standard. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There are 2 badminton courts, a volleyball court, table tennis room, a football/cricket field, a TV room/lounge, and well decorated lawns and gardens. Hostel rooms have all the essentials though it is time for a refurnish.

Faculty: Teachers were the best I ever had in my life. Selection to faculty is based on research output and citations. Faculty were well versed in their respective fields and were always willing to accommodate wishes and queries of students whether in academics or otherwise. Faculty student ratio about 1:2. Curriculum was excellent and equipped students for both a career in research or industry.

Learning Experience: First of all, they ask for your resume. After the resume is selected, you are given training. Offline training is very good, not everything is explained in it. We were explained by Mrs. Chakraborty. Apart from this, other faculty also gave us the training classes and explained us in a military basic way, which is very important. Thanks ISI

Faculty: As they were all government faculty and they were very experienced and their mind was very good. They used pencil on board in which things were explained very well. How can it be filled on FMEA? How the process can be broken and then it can be added back.

Course Support: Knowing things closely, how the problem is solved. How to find root cause. How to grow a business. It has helped.

No, just because you apply in the B.Stat entrance test and get a crack does not like directly merit you with an admission into the ISI Delhi BSDS program.B.Stat and BSDS are different programs at ISI and have both a different admission procedure and requirements.
