B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029
2.0
In my opinion, never take this college for your B.Tech course.
Placements: According to the college placement list, 48 out of 60 students are shown as placed on campus. But in reality, most of them are placed off campus, except for a few. Highest package in CSE is 6–7 LPA, the average package is 4–5 LPA, and the median package is 2–3 LPA. There are no internships provided by the college.
Infrastructure: Labs are in bad condition. There is no Wi-Fi for students. Classrooms do not have enough space to accommodate all students. Library is mainly for viewing books, as students cannot issue the books they need. There are no other activities such as sports, games, or similar facilities.
Faculty: Regarding faculty, all teachers have good knowledge in their fields. But some of them are not willing to share their knowledge with students and rarely come to classrooms. As I am newly enrolled in the college, I do not have sufficient knowledge about other things.

Join only if you are a good scholar.
Placements: Placements are below expectations. You can't rely on colleges and would need to apply off-campus. Top placement stood at 24 LPA.That too off campus. Top companies include L&T, Vikas Groups, TCS, and many others. Previously, 131 out of 470 students got placed.
Infrastructure: Hostels are in very poor condition. Toilets and bathrooms need to be fixed. Labs and classrooms are average. There is no facility for digital classrooms. There is no Wi-Fi. Classrooms of other branches like electronics and other core branches are poor.
Faculty: As of now, teachers are a bit supportive and focus mainly on studies. The course provides knowledge. It is relevant but does not make students industry-ready Semesters are not tough but students are not ideal. They took slightly so the passing percentage is very low as a whole.
Other: There are no fests or extracurricular activities.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2029
3.4
I am satisfied with my college. Faculty is very nice, and different activities are held.
Placements: Placements in my college are average. Good companies do visit, but they do not offer very high packages, which are around 5-6 LPA. Companies like Adani, TCS, Infosys, and Ultratech, etc. recruit students. A lot of students are placed in tier-2 companies. Generally, students are placed as Graduate Engineer Trainees (GET). The highest package last year was 8 LPA, the lowest was 2 LPA, and the average package was around 3.5 LPA. Around 70% of students get placed, and within that 70%, only about 10% receive a good package. Students also get internships in companies like Adani and ACC, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Classrooms are in good condition. Labs are not fully equipped but have the necessary resources to understand the concepts. The library is well-stocked with all the required books. There is no Wi-Fi facility in the college. Hostels are decent, but the water and electricity facilities are not very reliable. The food offered in the mess is average. In terms of sports, the hostel has better facilities than the college, including volleyball courts, badminton courts, a kabaddi court, and a cricket playground.
Faculty: Teachers are good. However, some do not teach actively instead, they ask students to study on their own and keep giving questions to solve. This is expected at the college level. However, most teachers are very nice and friendly. They focus on making students placement-ready from the first year. The teaching quality is good, and they cover the syllabus while also preparing students for placements. Semester exams are not very tough if you study from the teachers in the college, making them feel easier.
Other: I am an Electrical Engineering student, and as a fresher, I think it is an average college. Based on the overall experience, it feels decent. I asked my seniors about extracurricular activities, and they said that the college conducts sports events like the annual sports fest, as well as debates, speeches, and other activities to help students gain experience. Regarding scholarships, the college offers scholarships, which are around Rs. 40,000-50,000, as per my seniors. Overall, everything in the college is good, especially in terms of value for money.

I am not satisfied with this college.
Placements: Around 10-15% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T, HCL, etc. Approximately 2 or 3 students from each of the 70 students receive average internships from the college.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't provide any facilities. There's just a classroom where you can't even sit properly. We don't have Wi-Fi. Labs without any equipment. Classrooms are dusty rooms. There is a library but with outdated books.
Faculty: Many faculty members can't even complete the semester syllabus on time. The teaching quality is average. The college just provides you with a degree. Semester exams are average. Around 90% of the students pass the exam.
Other: A few events happen here once a year or sometimes twice. Many students start to prepare for GATE.

Review of Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology, Allahabad.
Placements: 10-20% of the students get placed in college, which mainly get placed in Mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and other branches. The highest package of the college is 24 LPA. The average package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS and L&T.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not too good as there has been no renovation for several years hence the college has become like deteriorated. Labs are fully equipped with Wi-Fi but there is no permission for first-year students to use the Wi-Fi anywhere in the college. The quality of food is good in the initial days of the hostel. But gradually the quality of food gets deployed drastically. There is a sports field in front of the hostel where you can play cricket and volleyball.
Faculty: Teachers in the IERT college are quite knowledgeable and have Ph.D. degrees in their respective fields. The course curriculum is not related to the industry norms as it focuses mainly on bookish knowledge rather than practical industry-related knowledge. The semester is quite easy but as the copy is checked by the AKTU hence there is little possibility of back in the semester paper.
Other: I have chosen this course because of the opportunity in the CSE field which will be present everywhere when you have industry-relevant skills. The scholarship of students who fulfill the norms of the scholarship gets, nearly all the students get the scholarships in the first year batch of CSE of Rs 58,400 (hostellers) and Rs 53,400 (day scholars). There are regular events and fests at the college which is the best part of this college.

    Review of IERT Prayagraj.
Placements: Placements were good before 2022. Big tech Indian companies visit our college like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, etc. For core branches like Adani, Green, etc., visit the college. But nowadays, placements are very poor. Only 15-20% of students get good placements with an average package of 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of IERT Prayagraj Campus is very poor. It has old buildings. They are very poor with cracks and no painting and maintenance for many years. Labs are available but not with all the equipment. Wi-Fi is only for teachers and staff. Classrooms are okay. Hostels are similar. There is a poor canteen. There is no sports culture.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and qualified. All are Ph.D. holders. They are knowledgeable. They have a good teaching quality. The course curriculum is provided by AKTU Lucknow. Exams are also conducted by AKTU. The course is a bit relevant. Exams are moderate.

If you want to pursue career in computer engineering then you should not take admission to IERT.
Placements: Only 40% of the students are placed. The highest package is 24 LPA (off-campus) at Amazon. Wipro and TCS are the top recruiters at IERT. Few teachers are concerned about us and rest of them don't get affected whether you are placed or not. If you have any problem, no one is here.
Infrastructure: The poor infrastructure at IERT College and hostel affects students' daily lives. Rooms are cramped, lack of maintenance, and outdated facilities create a comfortable environment. We have limited internet access, poor sanitation, and inadequate classrooms hinder both academics and well-being.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful but some of them are just like they just don't know what to teach or how to teach. Semester exams toughness level is above average. If you are brilliant in your studies and know all the concepts then you will feel these exams are very easy.

It has a good teaching environment and supportive teachers. It does not have good placements.
Placements: Placements are very comprising as I have seen and heard from my seniors. Companies like Tata, Wipro, and Marginal Ones visit the college and select only 10-15 students per branch. Students get placed with a salary package that ranges from 2-3 or the highest salary package of 6 LPA. Students who have no back in any semester and with the best attendance get placed. The situation of CSE students is very poor, as they have only a chance for the GATE exam because their selection rate is very low. Other branches even get some initial placement but due to enormous competition in the CS, only a few students got placed in previous years.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi or good labs. There are ugly and boring classrooms. In the name of facilities, it provides only seats for study (like in schools), toilets, lights and fans. There are no air- air-conditioners or coolers. I can say that my school was 5 times better than this college. There are obviously labs for us, but those labs have not been updated for years, and the computers stop working in the middle of any project working on. There is a library for the namesake. The hostel is the worst. There is no proper hygiene, and everything is in a compromising manner.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, very supportive, and well-qualified. Teaching is very good at least in CS. They teach us like in schools. They provide all questions and answers, and clear all our doubts. The course curriculum is good and it is provided by AKTU. They make the base strong, and teacher teaching makes us industry-ready. Semester exams of AKTU are very difficult. In exams, we get questions from the course, but checking is very tight. We have to work very hard to get good scores or top the exam. The pass percentage is 33%, including internals. I suggest students just maintain their attendance.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in the computer science course. I had to do this course from any college and be skillful in this field. My college is very poor in the field of organizing fests and events. The campus is not very beautiful as it is not maintained properly, and buildings are not renovated from time to time. Connectivity to the college is good due to Prayag Junction, which is just 200 meters from the college. Scholarships are provided every year and more than the fee amount is recovered if we are eligible. Students will have all proof for which scholarship they have to submit in college. Events like Krida Kumbh and HPL are held once a year or 3 years.
