No attendance issue. Really bad infrastructure. Don’t want to deal with any teacher.
Placements: The alumni of our college are doing really good. Most of them are in PSU and in IITs. In 2025, almost 20 to 25 students got placements, and all of them got an offer of 2 LPA. Some of them got even less. Our college is mainly famous for GATE results, but this year the GATE performance is also really bad. The highest placement by a college student is about 50 LPA, but off-campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really old and damaged. My classroom ceiling leaks, and there are not even working fans and lights in classes for Chemical Engineering. But the new department has good classes with fans and lights. There is only one smart class in the entire college with a digital board and AC.
Faculty: Some teachers are really good, while some are really bad. Some are really educated, like Poonam Nigam Mam, who has done her M. Tech from IIT Kanpur and her Ph.D. from Ohio State University. The college follows the AKTU curriculum, so it is old and irrelevant. Semester exams are not very difficult; I have passed my first year by just studying the whole night before the exam.
Other: Events and fests are not very good, just a little bit better than your school events (if you came from a UP Board school). The best thing about the college is that there is no attendance issue for almost all branches. So you can stay in your room and study if you want, or watch TV all day like most of us.

Review of Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped.
Placements: Around 40 percent of students get placed. The highest package offered is 48 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 3.2 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 6-4 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Accenture, TCS, etc. Around 60 to 70 percent of students got internships. The top role offered in our course is a software engineer.
Infrastructure: Facilities given by the college are a playground and a canteen. The infrastructure of our college is not very good because it's not a very big college. The quality of facilities provided by the college is average. Gamed here is another thing because the enthusiasm can't be matched.
Faculty: Teachers are pretty helpful. They are not arrogant, but some of them are. They are pretty much qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is above average. The course curriculum is not relevant, and it does not make students industry-ready. It is of the old way. Semester exams are actually pretty difficult to pass.

Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Divyangjan (AITD), Kanpur, was established in 1997.
Placements: A low percentage of my college students get placed on campus. The rest students opt for off-campus placements. If students want good job opportunities, then they will have more time to prepare for GATE and other exams. Companies like TCS and Whirlpool visit the campus for placements, but with a low package.
Infrastructure: The campus is spread over a land of only 10 acres, which makes us understand how the infrastructure would be. Buildings are old enough, and only one building is being built recently. There is a ground beside the college building where events are held on special days, and the rest of the days are free to do anything.
Faculty: Faculty members are great at teaching. They are friendly as well. As this college is under AKTU, the hardness level is quite high. We might not score as much as we expect, but our base will be stronger.
Other: If students are taking this college for preparation for any competitive exams, then it could be one of the best colleges for us, as there are very few restrictions regarding attendance. If students are going for placements after B.Tech in this college, then it could be a slight struggle. Cultural programs as well as sports events keep happening on a regular basis.

The college is the best for GATE students.
Placements: 80 percent of students were placed on campus or off campus. Last year, the highest package offered was 31 LPA. The average package offered was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, and TCS hire students. 40 percent of students get internships on basis of their personal skills. There is no role or support from the college. Roles like web developer, machine learning, etc., were offered.
Infrastructure: The college has slow-speed Wi-Fi. Labs are irregular and not mandatory to attend. There is no attendance criteria. The library is okay. No facilities are provided in the hostel. It does not provide enough food for students. The taste, quality, and hygiene of food are not good. The mess and canteen are also not good. Sports and games are decent.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful only if we are dedicated to studying, like academics or technical subjects. Teachers are knowledgeable, and their teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher. Some of them have a very good command of their subject, while others don't. The course curriculum is relevant. The course curriculum is not relevant, and they do not make students industry-ready. We have to do it by ourselves. The difficulty level of exams is decent. The pass percentage is 90 percent.
Other: I chose the information technology branch. The best thing about this course is the faculty members and the HOD of IT. They have to work with students and educate them at the industry level. Events and fests are superb. The selection of secretaries and coordinators is biased. Politics plays a crucial role in it.

Reality of Dr. AITD college, very bad experienced.
Placements: In my course, placement scope is relatively low; there is no fixed pattern. The lowest package is also very low, and year by year it's becoming worse. The highest package is too rare. Top recruiting companies are TCS and Wipro, and maybe new emerging companies. There is no real placement scope in my college.
Infrastructure: This college is a low-class government college. Nothing is special about this college. Wi-Fi is there, but the speed is like there is no internet connection. The condition of classrooms and washrooms is not hygienic. There is no hostel facility, and the campus is also too small, about 15 acres. There is no proper ground to play any sports.
Faculty: Teachers are good if you are good in front of them; then they will talk politely. They are totally strict to AKTU syllabus. The syllabus is too outdated. Passing percentage is 3 percent and not much is taught. Every subject has 5 units. From this syllabus, students are not ready for the industry.
Other: I chose this college because this college is 4th ranking in UP engineering colleges. My suggestion is that skill courses must be added apart from the college syllabus. In my college, small events are conducted every month.

The dark reality of this college is very disappointing.
Placements: In my course, college placement is too low and placement in other branches is comparatively good. The package range of placement is about 1-5 to 5-6 LPA. The top recruiting company is TCS, a new emerging company. In my college, nobody gets an internship from this college, but we can apply off-campus.
Infrastructure: About infrastructure, the college is old, and the building is getting too old. Wi-Fi facilities are available, but the speed is too slow. The classroom is not in good condition, and the bathroom is also not good. The library is there, but all the students go to the library only for self-study. Hostel facilities are not available. The canteen is there, but not too active. Only a single ground is there where students spend only 1 month in the entire year.
Faculty: Teachers are not very helpful, they only try to complete their syllabus. AKTU syllabus is good, but nobody takes it seriously. All the students study just 1 week before the exam, and the rest of the time, they either boost their skills or spoil their time.
Other: I chose this course because of my childhood dream. The best thing about this course is that we can choose any path apart from the B.Tech. My suggestion is that a skills course must be added to the syllabus so that students can participate. This college has a fest, but only an annual fest and in the middle of the year, a tech fest is organised only by the students of the 3rd year. Scholarship is provided by the college. The connection of this college is too weak.
