I am quite satisfied as I have learned a lot of things during my time here.
Placements: There are no such good companies for placements. Mostly, NGO comes for unpaid volunteering. If good companies come it is difficult to crack their interviews if we aren't fully prepared. We have a placement cell also called Eminence. It tries its best to bring good organisations.
Infrastructure: We don't have any hostels. The infrastructure is also very small. It is like 2 blocks only, but it is sufficient according to the number of students. Being a girls' college, we don't need much space to let you know how to roam around, etc. Because we have such a busy timetable for the whole day.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful. The course curriculum is very vast, as it contains various interesting subjects. The course curriculum is relevant. I guess it does make students ready for vast fields such as HR, nutritionist, Journalism, B.El.Ed, etc. Semester exams are not that hard either.
Other: I chose this course because it gives me a lot of career choices. I guess subject choices should be given to students. It organises our cultural fest named Feria, and other small fests also.

It has a good learning experience.
Placements: The placement cell in the Institute of Home Economics is active but limited in terms of opportunities. Only a small percentage of students get placed, mostly in education, NGOs, or internships. Many students prefer higher studies or competitive exams. The college focuses more on skill development than direct job placements.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is average. Classrooms are decent, and labs have basic equipment. Wi-Fi is slow and often unreliable. Hostel facilities are manageable, but the quality of the mess food needs improvement. Sports facilities and medical help are limited.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. The teaching methods should be more interactive and easy. The course curriculum is fairly relevant but needs updating for better industry alignment. Exams are moderately tough, and the average pass rate is decent.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the field and the practical exposure it provides. The best part is the supportive faculty and hands-on learning. I wish campus events and extracurricular activities were more frequent. The campus crowd is friendly and diverse.

Our college has good teachers.
Placements: The college doesn't provide placements however during college days we went to various field visits which were very informative. Teachers also provided us internship opportunities. In the department of human development and childhood studies, there is a preschool "Aarambh" where students can do internships. Other than this our batchmates also did internship in mobile creches.
Infrastructure: The college provided us with Wi-Fi but many times we face network issues as the Wi-Fi connection is poor and connectivity is good only in certain areas. In-home science hons we have various labs for different subjects including food lab, microbiology lab, botany lab, human development lab, textile lab, physics and chemistry lab, etc. There are a variety of lab instruments and they are in good working conditions. The library also provides a variety of books however seating space is limited. Coming to the canteen food, prices are very affordable. Lastly, there is a basketball court and a sports society.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and have deep knowledge. The course offers a variety of career options in fields like child development, textile, food and nutrition, communication, extension, and resource management. Semester exam are of moderate level.
Other: I chose this course because it offers a wide variety of career options. It's a growing sector and all the subjects are really interesting. The fest takes place every year where we get to enjoy a lot. The college is situated in hauz khas where there are many places for students to explore and enjoy college life with friends.

It is worth taking admission at the Institute of Home Economics in journalism course.
Placements: Approximately 30% of the students got placed in the college by themselves. The college does not provide placements in our course because we have a bachelor's degree. In the previous session, some seniors were placed in various media agencies by themselves only.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average as the same old Delhi University building in red colors. It has a brick structure. The college does not provide a hostel for any course either journalism microbiology, or other courses. They only have two wings A block and B block.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are not that great and not that professional. They treat well to students who are financially strong. Exams are conducted so strictly and professionally. They follow the guidelines of the Delhi University.
Other: There is nothing more to describe about the college, to be honest. I got this college from the CUET exam score. The journalism course is all about practical learning rather than the subjective and theoretical part where we learn about photography, filmmaking, writing blogs, newspaper editing, and different digital platform values.

This college provides you an amazing comfort zone with good faculty.
Placements: We have a placement cell in our college which caters to all the placement needs. Top companies have visited our college and provided good placements, the entire cell is very cooperative and gives us immense support from the beginning of the cycle till the end.
Infrastructure: The college has decent infrastructure, it is pretty old but well settled. The college has good space for cultural activities and properly built labs for all the practical to be conducted. Such a space build confidence in the students to achieve best ways around.
Faculty: All the subjects have vast curriculum with detailed knowledge. The curriculum is designed in such a way that it keeps the students interests in studying. None of the subjects are boring and with the help of our faculty it becomes even easier to understand all the concepts.

B.Sc. in Home Science - Batch of 2024

Mixed experience in the college. Faculty is nice.
Placements: More internship opportunities for students are shared via college. Campus placements are almost nil, especially for B.Sc. home science. We had struggled with internships and getting our LOC signed by the director. Mostly the option is for higher education like pursuing an MBA or M.Sc. in the course. Teachers do not help much with career counseling sessions.
Infrastructure: Labs are equipped with appropriate and needed technology. In labs, space isn't enough to accommodate the whole class and many students get left behind due to it. Some classrooms are spacious but some are way too clustered that there's suffocation.
Faculty: Teachers focus only on some specializations but not all, which feels very biased. Faculty and curriculum are nice. Exams are conducted aptly. Teachers are well-educated and teach interestingly. Notes and previous year's questions are provided simultaneously. Doubts are open to be cleared. Even internal exams and practicals are conducted fairly.
Other: You're left to fend off for yourself so be wise.
