IHM Shimla accepts NCHMCT JEE scores, followed by NCHMCT JEE counselling for admission to the BSc course. IHM Shimla accepts NCHMCT JEE cutoff for admission to BSc programme. As per the IHM Shimla NCHMCT JEE cutoff 2023, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks for BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration were 6399 and 10133, respectively, for the General All India category. Candidates with the ranks falling in the below mentioned ranks were eligible for IHM Shimla admissions:

The eligibility Ceritria for B.Sc admission in Institute of hotel management shimla is:

IHM Shimla specifies the minimum requirement to apply for BSc programme. Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent with English as one of the subjects can apply for BSc Hospitality and Hotel Administration. The upper age limit is 22 years for General and OBC Categories whereas, the upper age limit is 25 years for SC/ ST candidates.

IHM Shimla admissions are primarily entrance-based. The institute selects candidates for BSc based on NCHMCT JEE score. The National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam (NCHMCT JEE) is a national-level hospitality entrance exam for admission to BSc (Hospitality & Hotel Administration). Admission to the MSc course is through NCHMCT MSc JEE score. For other programmes, the merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam is considered for selection.

IHM Shimla has not specified the minimum marks to apply for admission to Diploma in Food Production. However, candidates must fulfil the eligibility requirements as mentioned below:

• Pass Class 12 with English as a compulsory subject
• For General/ OBC and Physically Challenged/ Handicapped Category age of applicant should not be more than 25 years. For SC and ST Category age of the applicant should not be more than 28 years.

There are a total of 380 seats for BSc course in IHM Shimla. Candidates are admitted to the course in accordance with the sanctioned seat intake only. The institute/regulating body reserves the right to revise the seat count in any academic year. Moreover, students score in NCHMCT JEE is also a factor considered during seat allotment.
