Good placements in 2025.
Placements: 100% of the students were placed, except for those who opened their own startups. Top recruiters were Oberois, IHCL, Westin, JW Marriott, Club Mahindra, KFC, and many other retail shops also came for recruitment on our campus. Roles offered in FO operations, F&B, and food production.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, and library were awesome. But the hostel conditions were not too good at that time. Food quality at the college was too good, whereas the food provided in the hostel was not as good as the food provided at the college. Medical facilities were also provided.
Faculty: Faculty members were very much knowledgeable. Teaching quality was good. The course curriculum was quite relevant. Students were not made industry-ready but ODC and training were available to prepare themselves up as per requirements and interests.
Other: There was nothing as such.

Management team not good.
Placements: Placement was up to the mark. Our placement coordinator, Mr. Yuvraj Prasad, was doing a good job; our college placement rate was 99%. The highest salary was 330k in the USA, and in India, it was 45k to 50k, while the lowest was 20k to 25k. Reputed hotel properties and corporate organizations like Oberoi, Taj, Hyatt, ITC, and CDC also come for campus placements. Many new startups come for placement, offering management training programs. Most placements are for management training programs, and cruise companies also come for placement.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was sufficient for the number of students present in college. The college has one quantity kitchen, two basic training kitchens, two advanced training kitchens, three restaurants, two housekeeping labs, two front office labs, and two computer labs. Our library is very good, and we have an executive development center. We also have an approximately 500-600 sq. feet auditorium with speakers and lighting. Additionally, our college has a cafeteria in which we have our lunch provided by the college.
Faculty: Faculties are well experienced, and they are all good mentors for the students. Our college has 5 senior lecturers, 8-10 junior lecturers, 8-10 assistant lecturers, and 8-10 supporting staff for all the kitchens and labs. Most of our faculties have 2-3 years of field experience, which helps a lot for us.

Fully satisfied because of faculty members and a good placement cell.
Placements: 80–90% of students are placed in well-listed hotels, and they are offered every good package for freshers. Perfect placement cells for students and good knowledge of students. The top recruiting companies are ITC, Hayat, Leela, Taj, Mayfair, and Golkonda.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for students, and the libraries also have good AC. The accommodated library is there, and the food is also very good in taste. They strictly focus on the hygiene of the food, and the kitchen is also very clean and good in every situation. There are computer labs for getting knowledge about basic exercises.
Faculty: The teachers of this college are very highly educated and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality of every faculty member is also good. The staff of this college is also cooperative with the students, and the faculty members are also cooperative with the students.
Other: Actually, I already finished my graduation, and I want to learn cooking because of my passion and interest in cooking.

Good college for hotel management but not for placement.
Placements: 90% of the students were placed but did not get their department in which they were interested. The lowest package was 10k and the highest was 50k. Companies like ITC, oberoi, Taj, leela, reliance, taco bell and manymore came for recruitment. 100% of students got internship from 4 star to 5 star hotels.
Infrastructure: Labs, classroom, library. Hostel is good but not the wardens and food quality is average but not too good. Medical facilities are not available we have to go to the nearest hospital. Sports and games are available but warden don't allow us to play.
Faculty: Some teachers are too good and helpful but few and not. Yes it make students ready for industry. 40% is passing percentage.

Our college is very good.
Placements: Around 92% of students got placed. The average salary package is around 5 LPA with a hostel and food. In our college, Oberoi, Taj, and ITC are the top brands for recruitment. Around 90% of students have done internships at many 5-star hotels. We got offered for the front office, F & B service, chef, housekeeping, sales manager, HR manager, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college is very good. The labs, kitchens, and Wi-Fi are very good. We have a big library other than any other college. We have an advanced bar. Faculty members are very good. The kitchen is advanced. The cafeteria is very good. The area around the college campus is also very good. We have 3 boys' hostels and one more is on the way.
Faculty: From this college, you will get ready for the hotel industry. This college has an ODC facility. In this facility, you will earn a small amount of money and you will practise the service procedure. This is good for the F & B guys. They also have a kitchen ODC facility. You will have the opportunity to visit a 5-star hotel and gain experience.

Review of IHM Bhubaneswar - Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition.
Placements: Almost every student gets a placement from the college. Maximum students get an average salary of Rs. 30,000 per month in retail sector companies. Top recruiting companies like Taj, Oberoi, Accor, Novotel Vivanta, Hyatt, and more from the hotel sector visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: All the facilities provided by the college to degree students are good. There are well-designed labs like at the industry level. The hostels are well-maintained with a mess, gym, and sports room. In front of the college hostel, there is a huge playground to play various outdoor games like football and volleyball.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are also good at teaching. This course is not only about reading and learning books, but students have to practice more to be prepared for the industry. Semester exams and service exams are quite tough.
