b)Criteria for ST Students: The ST students belonging to 1st Semester of 3-Years B.Sc, in Hospitality & Hotel Administration Programme, whose parents income from all sources does not exceed `.4.50 lakh per annum will be eligible for the Scholarship.
The scholarship for SC/ST students is limited to five students only, recommendation for five students will be made in the inter-se-merit list (Ranking) of Joint Entrance Examin

Established in 1973 as a Food Craft Institute, IHM Bhubaneswar started offering three-year BSc course in Hospitality in 1981 and was renamed – State Institute of Hotel Management. Further, in 1984, the Government of India upgraded the institute to ‘Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition’. IHM Bhubaneswar is affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) and it offers degree, diploma, craftsmanship and Hunar se Rozgar programmes to hospitality aspirants.
