The SC students belonging to 1st Semester of 3 years B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel administration programme whose parents income from all sources does not exceed 4.50 Lakhs per annum will be eligible for the scholarship. Since the above scholarship is limited to five students only. Recommendation for three students will be made in the inter - se- merit list (Ranking) of Joint Entrance Examination conducted for admission to the course.

Placements: 100% of the students were placed, except for those who opened their own startups. Top recruiters were Oberois, IHCL, Westin, JW Marriott, Club Mahindra, KFC, and many other retail shops also came for recruitment on our campus. Roles offered in FO operations, F&B, and food production.
Placements: Placement was up to the mark. Our placement coordinator, Mr. Yuvraj Prasad, was doing a good job; our college placement rate was 99%. The highest salary was 330k in the USA, and in India, it was 45k to 50k, while the lowest was 20k to 25k. Reputed hotel properties and corporate organizations like Oberoi, Taj, Hyatt, ITC, and CDC also come for campus placements. Placements: 80–90% of students are placed in well-listed hotels, and they are offered every good package for freshers. Perfect placement cells for students and good knowledge of students. The top recruiting companies are ITC, Hayat, Leela, Taj, Mayfair, and Golkonda.
Placements: 90% of the students were placed but did not get their department in which they were interested. The lowest package was 10k and the highest was 50k. Companies like ITC, oberoi, Taj, leela, reliance, taco bell and manymore came for recruitment. 100% of students got internship from 4 star to 5 star hotels.
Placements: Around 92% of students got placed. The average salary package is around 5 LPA with a hostel and food. In our college, Oberoi, Taj, and ITC are the top brands for recruitment. Around 90% of students have done internships at many 5-star hotels. We got offered for the front office, F & B service, chef, housekeeping, sales manager, HR manager, etc.
Placements: Almost every student gets a placement from the college. Maximum students get an average salary of Rs. 30,000 per month in retail sector companies. Top recruiting companies like Taj, Oberoi, Accor, Novotel Vivanta, Hyatt, and more from the hotel sector visit our college for placements.

For the general category, the NCHMCT JEE cutoff rank was 180 for admission to the MSc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration. In 2024, the cutoff rank for the same course was 124 for the General AI quota.

IHM Bhubaneshwar does not specifies the minimum aggregate required in Class 12 for admission to UG course i.e. BSc at IHM. However, candidates need to complete a minimum of Class 12 or equivalent with English as a subject to apply for IHM Bhubaneshwar admission. Aspirants appearing for Class 12 exam

Yes, IHM Bhubaneshwar offer Merit Scholarship to candidates. Merit Scholarship is offered to one student in each of the six semester who obtains the highest percentage of aggregate marks, the minimum being 60% in JEE/ First/ Second/ Third/ Fourth and Fifth semester final exam. The gross family income must not exceed INR 3 Lacs per annum. The amount of scholarship is to the extent of full semester fee except examination fee and caution money as application form time to time.
