ILNU accepts the scores of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for admission its BCom LLB (Hons) programme. CLAT is a national level entrance exam for law courses, conducted by the 18 participating law schools in rotation. The test consists of objective type questions and carries a maximum of 200 marks. Aspirants must visit the official website of the Consortium of NLUs to apply for the exam. They must separately register on the official ILNU website to be considered for the selection process, which is based on the CLAT scores.

ILNU Ahmedabad UG/PG courses are eligible for the candidates that secure a minimum aggregate of 45% in Class 12 or 50% in graduation. Candidates must qualify CLAT to secure a seat at this Institute. ILNU Ahmedabad sanctions 180 seats for a BA LLB and 90 seats for BCom LLB. For LLM, the Institute provids 30 seats.
At the time of admission to the BCOm LLB (Hons) programme of ILNU, selected candidates must submit a total of INR 3.72 lakh. This includes the annual tuition fee of INR 3.25 lakh, annual registration and examination fee of INR 7,000, and various one-time fees. Admissions to BCom LLB at ILNU are primarily made on the basis of CLAT score. The cutoff rank for CLAT at Nirma University varies from year to year. Vydehi Institute of Law hasn't released any admisson dates for BA LLB course admission for the academic year 2025. However, eligible candidates can apply for the course on the official website.
