Institute of Law, Nirma University (ILNU) offers a full-time LLM programme in two specialisations. ILNU LLM specialisations include Constitutional & Administrative Law and Criminal & Security Law. The duration of the postgraduate programme is one year. LLB admission at ILNU is based on the applicant's performance in CLAT.
In addition to applying for CLAT, aspirants have to register and apply on the official website of ILNU. Before applying, aspirants must ensure that they meet the following ILNU LLM eligibility criteria:
- Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% in a three-year LLB programme after graduation or a five-year integrated law programme recognised by the Bar Council of India
- Candidates who have appeared for the aforementioned degree examination and have their results awaited are also eligible to apply for provisional admission. However, their admission will be confirmed once they submit the documents establishing their eligibility.

ILNU LLM Admission 2025: How to Apply?
ILNU Ahmedabad LLM admission is entrance-based. The institute admits students to the PG degree programme based on their performance in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). The entrance exam is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). Interested candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for CLAT 2025:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Consortium of NLUs at www.consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
Step 2: Register as a new user by completing the registration form.
Step 3: Verify your phone number for account activation.
Step 4: Log in to fill out the CLAT application form with all the required information.
Step 5: Select at least three cities as preferred exam centres and the reservation category.
Step 6: Pay the application fee (which is category-specific) in online mode using credit or debit cards, or net banking.
Step 7: Submit the form.
In addition to registering for CLAT, candidates must register for INLU admission by visiting the institute's official website at www.law.nirmauni.ac.in. Once the CLAT results are out, the institute will release a merit list of shortlisted candidates on its official website. The merit list will be based on the CLAT scores of applicants.
