The ATMA 2026 registration for the Feb session exam for admission to MBA/PGDM and MMS courses is expected to start in Dec 2025.
The CMAT 2026 registration has started for admission to the MBA, PGDM, and MMS courses. The deadline for registration is Nov 17, 2025, and the exam date is yet to be released.
The MAT Dec 2025 registrations are now open. For PBT mode, the last date to register is Dec 7, 2025, and the exam is scheduled for Dec 13, 2025. Moreover, for CBT mode, the registration closes on Dec 15, 2025, and the exam date is Dec 21, 2025.
The XAT registration process 2026 is now open for MBA/PGDM courses. The last date to register is Dec 5, 2025. Furthermore, the XAT 2026 exam will be held on Jan 4, 2026.
The CAT 2025 admit cards for admission to MBA/PGDM courses are now available for download. The CAT 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted on Nov 30, 2025.

IMDR Pune Admission Process 2025

Institute of Management Development and Research Pune is an AICTE & DTE-approved institute that offers PGDM and Fellow Programme in Management. IMDR Pune Admission 2025: Eligibility & Selection

IMDR PGDM course is offered in the dual specialisation. Thus, the candidates can choose a major and minor specialisation. In the following table, IMDR Pune courses eligibility and selection details are mentioned in detail:

IMDR Pune Admission Process 2025

Entrance exams accepted for IMDR Pune admission are CAT/MH-CET/CMAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT. For the fellowship programme, no entrance score is required, however, candidates have to give a research proposal presentation. The admission procedure begins with online registrations and concludes with the issue of selection letters. Candidates who receive the selection letter will be required to pay the admission fees to confirm their admission. The IMDR Pune application process has been described in the table below:

STEP 1: IMDR Pune Application Process 2025

To start the application process, candidates must visit the official website of IMDR Pune(imdr.edu). After arriving on the homepage, candidates are required to click on the "Apply Now" tab on the top menu on the homepage. This will allow the candidate to register themselves on the official website. The admission form can be submitted successfully by paying the application fees.

STEP 2: Selection Rounds

After the application process, candidates who applied for the PGDM course are shortlisted based on the exam scores and invited for a personal interview round. For the FPM course, the institute shortlists applications based on the applicant's academic record and work experience. Shortlisted candidates are further required to appear for the research proposal presentation in front of the selection committee followed by an interview round.

STEP 3: Issuing of Selection Letter

Following the completion of the selection rounds, the institute issues selection letters to the eligible candidates.

STEP 4: Admission Confirmation

Candidates who get the selection letter may have to report at the institute to confirm their admission by paying some amount of course fee.

IMDR provides a nice ecosystem to learn.

Placements: Don't have personal experience as I am currently in first year of my course. The average salary I have heard is 6.5 LPA which is a good return on investment considering fees. Good amount of companies come for the campus drive. The students get placements and internships are also provided by the college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are really excellent. They have well-equipped classrooms and have smart boards. The auditorium also carries every facility needed. They allow students to use these facilities for academic purposes. The food in the canteen is good but expensive. Medical facility is available in case of emergency at college. College conducts sports day, and IMDR has an indoor game room. They provide Wi-Fi facility and library contains helpful and interesting books.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and open to answer the questions. The course is relevant and updated which consists lots of activities beyond classroom learning making the concept practical to understand. The college takes efforts to make the students industry ready as there is a mentor allocated to each student who will help them find the flaws and work on them.

Infrastructure: The college has student Wi-Fi, a technologically advanced classroom setup, great space for extracurricular activities, a spacious and safe parking area, a great canteen space with home-like food, and a modern setup with smart boards and fully air-conditioned classrooms with an auditorium.

Faculty: The faculty at the institute is always well updated and very knowledgeable. Attendance at lectures is 75 percent mandatory per subject. The lectures for most faculty are highly interactive, and they ensure that attention span is not lost. The course curriculum is dynamic and is inclusive of real-time corporate world changes and adapts to them. The exams are conducted professionally and vigilantly.

Other: I chose this course at IMDR to be able to enhance my domain knowledge in the field of business management. However, the college campus can accommodate more classrooms. The fest and events happening at the institute are a must-attend.

Life at IMDR in a nutshell.

Placements: College has an impressive rate of placements. The placements of batch 2022-2024 went up to 90 percent. The placements offered are for all backgrounds, with a minimum package starting from 5 LPA. Roles of management trainee, analyst, etc., are offered. The faculty also provides excellent guidance throughout the placements.

Infrastructure: College has excellent facilities including AC classrooms with all the necessary equipment, smartboards, well-equipped labs, auditorium, library, canteen facility, Wi-Fi access, clean washrooms. The surroundings of the college are also well maintained and clean.

IMDR is one of the oldest B-schools in the city. The canteen has some of the best food there is.

Placements: Deloitte, Tata Capital, Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, Capgemini, and ICICI Bank participated in the placement drive. The placement rate for the 2024 season is 92 percent. A total of 142 students registered. The institute’s brochure mentions a six-month internship embedded as part of the programme. Out of 180 registered students, placements are offered to several candidates. The highest package for the latest batch is 14.71 LPA.

Infrastructure: The library is decent and has all the books that I need. The canteen is amazing, good food and great talks.

Faculty: Faculty is good and very understanding. Logistics, which I'm going to practice further, is relevant to me. The faculty members are very helpful and have very good industry knowledge. Most of them possess Ph.D.s and share this knowledge. Industry experts and seasoned academicians give guest lectures every week with real-world case studies and interactive sessions.

Other: I chose this course to get more information about the market trends. This program’s relevance to my job is crucial. There should be better timing for the lectures.

Infrastructure: Food in canteen is good. Classrooms are neatly maintained and well-cleansed. Sports and games are also good. Events also take place that help in team-building activities and personal development. The library and classrooms are available, and Wi-Fi is also available in the college.

Faculty: Teachers are good and they explain well. The curriculum is relevant, and this curriculum makes students industry-ready. At IMDR Pune, the faculty are generally qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable, with a focus on case studies and practical learning. Good college to join for PGDM.

Placements: Most students got placed according to their skills. The highest package is 14 LPA, and the median is 6 LPA. Top roles offered are marketing, BFSI, and consulting. KPIT, Accenture, Godrej, Axis Bank, Federal Bank, and Deloitte are among the top recruiters. I will recommend it to people.

Infrastructure: We have all the facilities like labs, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a library, and a canteen, which is also nice with good food. Medical and sports facilities are also nice. Classes are large and spacious with windows and balconies, and the campus is very green with lots of flora and fauna all around.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly, helpful, and professional. Teaching quality is good, but the pace is very slow. More could have been done in the time left. The pass percentage is one-third, and exams seem to beat par with the level of post-graduation, which is a nice thing.

Other: Nice college to join. Decent and professional.
