An honest review of Institute of Management Studies.
Placements: The college does provide placement opportunities, but they are very few. Only some students get placed from college. From our senior batch, only two students were placed. Although companies do visit the campus, the placement rate is low.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not huge, but it is good enough. Quality of labs is satisfactory, and classrooms are below average. The canteen is not much good. Only volleyball and badminton courts are available in the college. There is also no good supply of water.
Faculty: Faculty members are extremely disappointing. Most of the faculty members are under qualified, and they don't teach so well. We don't even have the freedom to communicate with them freely. Doubts are also not cleared. The course curriculum is satisfactory as it mainly focuses on basics, not in-depth.
Other: The college organises events and fests from time to time. It is also well connected by road transport facilities. The campus crowd is mainly from village areas.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of placements and faculty.
Placements: Placement opportunities in the college are not that good. However, the college does provide details regarding placements as it has a placement cell. Placements depend on the students as the college only provides opportunities. The average salary offered would be around Rs. 15,000 per month. Last year, only 2 students got placed from BBA branch through college placements.
Infrastructure: Overall the infrastructure of the college is pretty nice. The computer lab is very well-equipped. The library is also extremely good. Classrooms and other facilities are also in good quality. The quality of the food served is average. There are volleyball and badminton courts available here.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are not up to the mark. Only a few teachers are knowledgeable. They offer very little help regarding your questions and queries. They basically want you to stick to their way of teaching. The course curriculum has interesting topics that will attract students. The student to faculty ratio in BCA would be 30:1. They are qualified but not good.
Other: The college organises various fests and programs. It also encourages to take part in other events be it in any other college event as well.

It is not a good college if you want a placement with handsome salary package.
Placements: Placements in IMS are average. The placement cell of IMS Roorkee is good if you want a good placement. However, the college takes part in pool campus drives which are held by other colleges. Few companies visit IMS for placements, but the faculty members support students for external placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of IMS Roorkee is good. There are many faculty members. IMS Roorkee campus is spread over 4 acres. There are a playground, a volleyball court and a badminton court. The campus is very neat and clean. It has 2 building blocks. There is a separate building for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Faculty: IMS Roorkee offers 5 courses in 3 streams namely management, commerce and banking and IT. It offers 5 degrees like MBA, BCA, BBA, B.Com and MCA. IMS Roorkee campus is spread over 4 acres. There are many well-educated and supportive faculty.
Other: Institute of Management Studies is situated in Roorkee in Uttarakhand. It is accredited by AICTE, and it is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University. The hostel facility is available for students. There are additional campus facilities such as academic zone, auditorium, boys hostel, canteen, computer lab, education festival, library, medical facilities, classrooms and placements.

The college is good for those who wants to do something new byself.
Placements: It totally depends on your skill. If you are a good learner than it is a good place for you. Evert year many IT companies came and hire the students according to their needs. The college also provide the pool campus interviews session for the students to provide the more and more jobs to the student.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is also good. A small campus having most of the facilities. There is a play ground and a valley ball court and badminton court. The campus is very neat and clean. It contains 2 building blocks for separation of under Graduate and Post Graduate students.
Faculty: The faculty is almost good. All the faculty have about 5 to 10 year experienced of teaching. All the faculty have good knowledge about their subjects. The college is affiliated from UTTARAKHAND state university. Which provides so many courses at efficient fees.
Other: There is a facility of Scholarship for the students. Lots of activities held in the campus just like Cricket, competitions like Wall Painting, Singing, Rangoli and other function like teacher s day celebration.

IMS- Roorkee details and true reviews.
Placements: There are no placements in our college. No company shows up here, nor any news for the seniors or juniors of the placements from the college side. As I am studying here since 2016, I can say there are no placements here, but there are one or two interviews held on the campus. Although the companies are not at a very good level, they are average and open the gate of our next level of life.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is cool here which is not the best in the native place, but it is above average. The ground and the building here is just fine, but it does not cover much area in which you can make big labs or build a good ground for sports or any function. It has no auditorium, but instead, we have 2 small guest lecture rooms which are good enough only for 300 students. We have a cricket kit, a good volleyball court an average canteen and limited resources. The Wi-Fi promised by the college doesn't work daily, though with the help of the central government we have a Jio Wi-Fi for the students which provide only 20 Mbps per student. In short and last, it's one of the best colleges of Roorkee for the management courses, as it provides good faculty members.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are good in all course, and the course is affiliated to the University, according to which it functions. They are not much genuine apart from this, but if HOD finds students desirous of the studies, then they are always ready to help and be open to the mindset of the students. All the HODs here are good, especially of the computer science department who is the honourable, Dr Gesu Thakur mam.
Other: A few games are played here, and other curricular activities are available.

Extreme satisfaction due to the faculty, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The companies that visited the campus are Bajaj Allianz, ICFAI, ASAHI glass, Indiabulls securities Ltd, Tech Mahindra, HCl, HUL, ICICI Prudential, HDFC Bank etc. The roles offered to the students were the process associate, business development executive, relationship manager. Apart from providing on and off campus placements, placement cells are also conducting various personality sessions for the students such as mock interview, resume making sessions, group discussions, presentations and quantitative aptitude sessions.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities available on the campus. The college has well-furnished classrooms with lecture desk, tables, chairs, two air conditioners, HD projector, Alkosign whiteboard, fans & tube lights. The Wi-Fi facility is also available around 20 MB/day per a student. The library has a wide variety of books & business magazines for all the students & faculty members. The e-books are also available in the computers, which are present in the library. The campus follows the saying that "All work & no play makes Jack a dull boy". In sports & games, the indoor & outdoor games along with the sports faculty are available in the college. The computer lab has 210 computer systems equipped with the latest Pentium dual-core processor and free access to the internet to all the students at 10 Mbps speed. The campus has the excellent canteen where yummy & healthy snacks, beverages, fast-food are served at reasonable prices fixed by the college. The campus runs its own fleet of buses & provides transport facility from various locations in Roorkee.
Faculty: All the faculty members are very kind, helpful & polite with every student in the college. The faculty members understand the problems of the students and always give quick solutions. All the faculty members are well qualified & knowledgeable. Some faculty members are PhD holders. The faculty of the college uses the examples for every topic because they want the students to understand. The campus arranges the industrial visits for the students for once in every semester to show the workflow and the working environment in the organisation.
