ITM Institute of Design and Media Admission 2025 (Open): Application Process, Eligibility, Dates & Fee

ITM Institute of Design and Media offer undergraduate design programmes. It offer four-year BDes programme across different specialisations. The UG course is offered in specialisations, including Fashion Design, Interior Design, Visual Communications, UX Design, etc.

ITM IDM BDes 2025 application forms are out. Aspirants can visit the official website to register and apply. The last date to apply/register is Dec 12. In addition, the last date of application is Mar 31. The course aspirants must register and apply on or before the prescribed deadline. 

Admission to the ITM Institute of Design and Media is determined by the ITm-IDM entrance exam. A part of the ITM Group of Institutions is the ITM Institute of Design and Media. It was once known as the ITM Institute of Fashion, Design, and Technology when it was founded in 2010. ITM IDM has two locations: one in Nerul, Navi Mumbai, and the other in Andheri West, Mumbai. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission. Besides, candidates must also qualify ITM IDM Entrance Exam for admission to BDes course.

Yes, candidates who have completed Class 12 can apply for ITM Institute of Design and Media programmes. The institute has not specified the minimum aggregate required to apply for admission. However, 60% in Class 12 is a decent score and aspirants can apply with this score for admission at ITM IDM. Aspirants in the final year awaiting results can also apply for BDes programme at ITM Institute of Design and Media. 1. Entrance Exam Cutoff
- ITM-IDM DAT - General Category: 50 Percentile
- ITM-IDM DAT - Reserved Category: 45 Percentile  

2. 12th Boards Cutoff
- General Category: 60% aggregate
- Reserved Category: 55% aggregate

3. Portfolio Review Round
- Qualifying cutoff - 60% (General); 55% (Reserved)

4. Interview Rounds
- Based on composite score across portfolio, entrance and academics

The final cutoffs do tend to vary slightly year-on-year based on application numbers and selections by the admission committee. But the above cutoff benchmarks should give you a good indication of score requirements at ITM IDM Mumbai.

Candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 1,500 to apply for ITM IDM Entrance Exam. Aspirants can pay the application fee via any of the online payment modes. Candidates need to appear for ITM IDM Entrance Exam to get admission in BDes programme of ITM Institute of Design and Media.
