Student securing more than 50% of marks in the respective subject can take Major in any 1 of the following subject Eng, Assamese, Bengali, Economics, Political Science, Education, History & Geography
For Arts students, who don't opt for Major subjects, have to choose the sub from following: Compulsory Sub: Eng, MIL (Assamese, Hindi, Bengali, Bodo, Alt. Eng), Environmental Studies
And from Optional Subjects (any 2): Economics, Political Science, Geography, Education, History, Computer Applications/TTM
Students securing 1st Division (60%) may offer subject combination on their own choice
Students securing less than 60% marks, subject combination will be determined on the basis of intact capacity of each subject at the time admission
Selection of major subjects will be made with the discussion of respective departments and In case there are more than 30 applicants for Major, the concerned department may hold screening test

Absolutely satisfied and best.

Placements: The percentage is about 70. The highest package offered is 7 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are in the business sector. Students get internships at Guwahati University in Political Science and Alternative English. I hope this helps.

Infrastructure: In my college, most facilities are available, like Wi-Fi, labs, library, computer, medical facilities, sports and games. The quality of facilities in my hostel is good. The quality of food is also good and healthy, along with medical and others.

Faculty: Teachers are really reliable. They provide the knowledge we need. Their teaching is as good as ever. It makes lots of students ready for any kind of industry. The semester exams in college are medium, not hard or easy. The passing percentage is maybe around 80.

The college has a big campus where you would love to study.

Placements: About 20% of students got placed last time. The highest package was about INR 4 to 5 lakh. The lowest package was about INR 85K to 25K. The top recruiting companies were Reliance, Tata, Wipro, and various others. The top roles offered were software developer, project manager, and data analyst.

Infrastructure: Facilities and the infrastructure were all new at the time, so it was really good. The campus is huge. It has two fields on the front and back. Many classrooms were there, including digital classrooms. The hostels were nice; not what you may expect, but it's not that bad at all, so overall, it's pretty decent.

Faculty: The teachers are super nice and friendly. They teach you with so much enthusiasm. Everyone would love to read here. The teachers are pretty responsive and active. They do their jobs well.

I am satisfied with good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: College has committed placement cell, corporate relations and placement Centre to ensure active placement. There are various companies like Samsung, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, etc. Visit every year for placement drives. Internship and Industry Partnership Cell is a dedicated team for the internship guideline. It offers various internship programmes in which students can upgrade themselves.

Infrastructure: Our college has an excellent infrastructure and eco-friendly campus. The system is enabled to the students which help students throughout the session. College has well-equipped and upgraded laboratories. Classrooms are properly ventilated and have lights which provide a good atmosphere. College has the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. College has excellent facilities in classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports center, and hostels are used and well-maintained.

Faculty: Teachers are very friendly, helpful, highly qualified, and experienced. College provides all the recent development and makes students job ready. Good academic and study quality of teaching is good. The curriculum is updated with all the recent developments. College support and senior interaction are good. There is a new session every day about new technology that makes more to do well in placements.

Review of Jagiroad College.

Placements: There are no placement facilities in our college. You have to give different exams for government jobs or other interviews for better placements. Campus placement facilities are not available in the college. Every year lots of students pass from college and go to other universities for higher education.

Infrastructure: Course infrastructure is average, and it is as per the Guwahati University. All courses are well-planned for the all-around development of all students. The college has hostels for both boys and girls. They are secured for girls, but the food they provide is not that good.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very supportive, good, highly qualified and experienced. All faculty members are very friendly and always help us in our studies and make us achieve our dreams. The course curriculum is also very positive, and all the required subjects have their own labs. The course structure is very good for students all-around development.

Other: I have chosen this course because the course is value for money. Faculty members of our college are very good, and their behaviour towards students is very friendly. They teach all students very well.
