B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029

Good placements, supportive faculty, and decent campus life.
Placements: I am from the B.Tech CSE (2029 batch). Placements are decent if you have good coding skills and maintain your CGPA. Around 70% of students get placed every year. The highest package is around 44 LPA, and the average package is close to 6 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, and Amazon visit the campus. Many students also get internship opportunities before final placements. Most students are offered roles like Software Engineer, QA Engineer, SDE, and Analyst.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. Computer labs have all the basic software needed for practical work, and classrooms are clean. The library is useful for studying. Wi-Fi is available in most areas. Hostel rooms are okay, and security is also good. Mess food is average, sometimes good, and sometimes not. The canteen has better options at reasonable prices. Sports facilities are also available. Medical help is provided whenever required. Overall, I am satisfied with facilities.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful and explain topics properly if you attend classes regularly. Some faculty members are really supportive, while a few depend more on presentations. The syllabus covers the basics, but students should also learn extra skills like coding and projects on their own. Semester exams are not very difficult if you study regularly. Internal marks also help, so the overall pass percentage is quite good.
Other: I chose CSE because I am interested in the IT field and it offers good career opportunities. College life is enjoyable because of technical events, cultural fests, and different clubs. The campus crowd is decent. There are scholarship options for eligible students. I think the college should focus more on industry projects, better internship opportunities, and more practical learning so students get better exposure before placements.

Good infrastructure but dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: Around 70-80 percent of students got placed in B.Tech. The highest package is around 44 LPA to 52 LPA, and the lowest package is around 2 LPA to 3 LPA. The average package is around 10 to 11 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, HPE, Capgemini, Accenture, Infosys, and Wipro. A large portion of students get an internship.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi and some labs are good, and some are not. Classrooms are good. The library has good infrastructure with AC. Food quality is not that good in the hostel sports, and games are average. Mechanical labs have good facilities. There is a canteen available.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable and some are not. The course curriculum is not relevant. Semester exams are not that difficult. Only a 3.3 CGPA is required to pass but a student may not be industry-ready. They should have their own skills.
Other: I am interested in AI. It is AI-based. To improve my course in coding teaching. Events and fests happen.

Overall, the college is very good.
Placements: 45-50 percent of students get placed. The highest package offered is 7 LPA. The average package offered is 3.3 LPA. The top recruiting company for our branch is Truechip. It offers a role in PCB designing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. It has very high-speed data. Labs are very good. Classrooms have digital boards. We have a huge library where we can find every book related to our stream, and we can also issue books for ourselves.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified. Most of them are associate professors. It is affiliated with RTU. The course curriculum is best for industrial purposes. Semester exams are not difficult, so we can easily clear them. The pass percentage is 40 percent. If students study very nicely, then they can clear exams easily.

B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2029

It is the best college in Jaipur for B.Tech. I suggest students do not miss it.
Placements: I'm currently pursuing a B.Tech in artificial intelligence and data science at Jaipur Engineering College & Research Centre. The college provides a decent academic environment. Around 60-80 percent of students get placed. The package offered ranges from 3-6 LPA. The top performers can secure high offers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the AI and Data Science department at Jaipur Engineering College & Research Centre is decent and meets basic academic needs. Classrooms are well-maintained with projectors and proper seating. Labs are equipped with the necessary systems for programming, data analysis, and core subjects. Some systems are not always high-end.
Faculty: Faculty members are mostly qualified and helpful. The quality of teaching varies across subjects. The AI and data science course curriculum is relevant, but we should do self-learning to become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty. The pass percentage is high (around 85-90 percent).

Great learning environment with strong placement and supportive faculty.
Placements: About 90 percentage student placed at 8 LPA. A high number of students placed in high placements. In the previous year, one student was placed at 55 LPA. 100 percentage placement are in college. CS -AI and other branches are available in this college. So this is a very good thing.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure, the best college in semi government colleges. Everything is well-maintained. Study library is very professional and very nice atmosphere for students. Sports grounds are separate and well-maintained, neat and clean college with high security.
Faculty: The faculty is very kind and very professional. Every faculty is passed high institution and good. Explanation and many years of experience in the teaching field. Every branch blocks are separate with a personal head of department with professional professors.
Other: Very greenery college environment with good nature.

Overall, it was a good college regarding placement too, but you had to choose your branch wisely.
Placements: Placement in the Mechanical Engineering course was less than CS and IT courses, so if you were willing to do engineering, you shouldn’t have chosen the Mechanical stream. Either take CS or shift to any other branch from where you could sit in the placement of Computer Science placements.
Infrastructure: There were 2 boys’ hostels and one girls’ hostel. Talking about boys’ hostel 1, it was better than BH-2. Rooms were good, ventilation and hygiene were maintained, but as in every other hostel, the problem was regarding food. You were provided average food quality.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and they taught well and good. Regarding making you industry-ready, that work you had to do yourself; they only guided you. Semester exams were not that difficult, if you started preparing one month before, you could score more than enough.
Other: I chose this course because at that time Mechanical was a core and favourite stream, but due to Corona, everything changed. I wished there would have been better placement for the Mechanical stream. Events and fests were good here; you would enjoy them a lot.

If placements are your priority, I would personally prefer LPU. The university has a larger recruiter base, stronger industry exposure, and a well-established placement ecosystem. BBA students get opportunities in banking, finance, marketing, analytics, and business development roles. The university
