Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2018

Review of Jaypee Polytechnic College.
Placements: The number of selected students in our batch was less than 10, specifically in the mechanical branch. Makino India was the only company that provide internships training for the duration of 1 year. The stipends they pay were not good but overall, it was far good because it always seems to have a better future ahead. But they select only two students from a single institute. Our colleagues that passed their interview round, got their first job in Mahindra and L&T. I am very grateful to teachers because they taught students everything which was very important for every mechanical engineer to know.
Infrastructure: Our college provides laboratories, library, and classrooms deserve praise, as all the facilities students needed were available. I had spent a lot of time in the library, and there was much to read and were hardly any books available for diploma courses.
Faculty: They served best-in-class education to students. They were well qualified and experienced. They always try to motivate students and do not judge any students by their grades. The faculty members of our college were not at all negligent about the examination and were strict to a great extent.

I suggest not to opt for this college.
Placements: There are no placements in our college for our branch. We approached our college principal daily for placements, but he was not available in the office. However, once placements were offered in Kanpur, but they all hire boys and family members.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available. Labs are very bad, and there are no instruments in labs. Classrooms are good, and the library is also good. The canteen is not available in our college. However, the hostel canteen is available, but the food is very bad. There are no games facilities.
Faculty: Teachers for the first-year are common and very helpful, but 2nd-year teachers are not good. The principal is also not good. The tuition fee is high, i.e., Rs. 42,000 per year, but considering the fee, students can't a good future as expected. There are no securities.
Other: I have chosen this course because the whole world level being digitised. The college should have better principal and faculty members.
