The minimum duration of the course is three years, and the maximum period for completion of the course is six years. The school offers courses in various research areas related to Business and Management. Admission to Jindal Global Business School PhD in Management is entrance exam-based.
Jindal Global Business School offers entrance exam-based admission to PhD. Given below are the other admission-related details of the course:
- Eligibility: Master's degree in Business Administration/ Economics/ Commerce/ Engineering & Technology/ Allied subjects with at least 55% aggregate Or Post Graduate Diploma in Management recognised by AICTE as equivalent to MBA with 55% aggregate or equivalent grade Or Professional qualification (CA/ ICWA/ CFA/ CS) with a minimum of 55% aggregate (Relaxation for reserved categories as per UGC norms).
- Selection: Entrance exam (Online Research Entrance Examination (conducted by JGU)/UGC NET/CSIR NET/JRF/SLET (Haryana State)) score + Interview with the School Doctoral Committee (SDC)
- Work experience: Candidates with Industry/ teaching/practising/ managerial/ professional experience of 3 years are preferred during selection.
NOTE: The fee mentioned above is for three years and has been calculated basis the annual tuition fee. It also includes the registration fee, application fee, and a fully refundable security deposit collected at the time of admission as per university rules.

However, it may be extended for a further period of six months only after special approval by the Vice-Chancellor of JGU if the research work is found satisfactory his/ her tenure.
