Worth the price they are offering for.
Placements: Nearly 60 to 80 percent of students got placements from our college. The packages are according to their performance and grades till them attending for the interview. Placement counts differ from one course to another and in the same way packages differ from person to person.
Infrastructure: Department facilities are quite good, very reasonable for a government college to provide those facilities, but hostels should be improved a lot. Leakages are the major problem in hostels and dogs and cats create a lot of mess. Apart from this, in departments, computer labs should be maintained efficiently.
Faculty: The curriculum is very good. Coming to faculty they teach their respective subjects finely but they have flaws too. They do not personally take care but when asked, they will accompany you. Some faculty are known as guest faculty who can be suspended at any time of the year.

Review of a CSE Cybersecurity Student at JNTUH UCESTH.
Placements: For the 2025–26 academic year, JNTUH UCESTH achieves around a 60.4% placement rate. It secured over 630 offers from 100+ companies. The highest salary package reaches 53 LPA, alongside a solid average of 7 LPA. Computer Science branches, particularly AI & ML, lead the recruitment drive with the highest number of offers and top compensation packages.
Infrastructure: Our Computer Science and Engineering department has recently upgraded the systems in our labs. University library is very good, with three floors and a single-floor digital library. The hostel is decent and affordable. The value for money is very high.
Faculty: I feel the course curriculum is relevant, but students have to put in some more effort on their own to become industry-ready. Semester exams are easy. Most students here study just one week before and score very well in exams. Teachers are very helpful.

JNTUH is a great place to pursue engineering. The placement rate at college is quite good.
Placements: From the passing-out batch of B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering this year, around 60% of registered students got placements. The highest package is 19 LPA, the lowest package is 6.51 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. The major role offered is VLSI Designer.
Infrastructure: The department has good infrastructure, but at times, a few labs have outdated equipment. A well-functioning canteen is available on the campus. A ground is always available for students to play sports. A sports complex is also available, which has an indoor pool and facilities for other indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers at JNTUH are extremely knowledgeable. The college updates the course curriculum every few years to keep it relevant to the current industry. The semester exams are usually of moderate difficulty. But it completely depends on how well the student is prepared.
Other: I chose this course because the software sector is becoming more saturated. This field offers better job opportunities if good skills are developed. The college has improved its extracurricular activities. Different fests and events are organized to improve connectivity among students and help them enjoy campus life.

JNTUH is a crazy place.
Placements: Don't have too many expectations from the placements. The last batch that passed has decent placements. Most of the hiring is through mass recruiters, with a few exceptions like AMD and other well-known companies. If you work hard and maintain a good CGPA, placements are guaranteed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure needs to be improved. The campus is poorly maintained. The trees need to be maintained. The buildings need severe renovation. The footpaths need to be weed-free. We need better food and canteen facilities. The open canteen also needs renovation.
Faculty: The curriculum is decent but not exactly up to date. The R25 curriculum is better in comparison. The end-of-semester exams are tough, really tough. It is not a good college for students planning a partial drop, irrespective of the department. Do not try to cheat, or you will get into serious trouble.
Other: Overall, it is a really good place if you find the right set of people.

Good faculty, infrastructure could be better, decent placements.
Placements: About 60% of students were placed. Top recruiting companies are TCS, AWS, Oracle, Darwinbox, Honeywell, and NVIDIA. Top roles offered are VLSI Designer, Embedded Systems Engineer, and Software Developer. The highest package is 19 LPA, the average is between 6–9 LPA, and the lowest is around 3 LPA. About 65% of students got internships, mainly from companies like Darwinbox, Honeywell, and AWS.
Infrastructure: The campus itself is large and open. It covers 89 acres, and most of it is open space. There is a huge ground for cricket and football, along with outdoor shuttle courts. There is also a large indoor sports complex with badminton courts and other facilities like squash. There are also two modern basketball courts. Classrooms are large, but due to the high number of students, they feel congested. Wi-Fi is available but slow and laggy. The library is excellent, with all academic books available along with some magazines and newspapers, but no novels. Hostels are satisfactory—nothing too good, nothing too bad.
Faculty: Faculty is fast and efficient. They complete their syllabus on time and do not really bother with students that much. Students have to go to them and ask doubts and use them to the best of their abilities. They are very helpful in that aspect. Sometimes teachers may cancel classes. The course curriculum is relevant. There is a lot of industry exposure through it. Some subjects, like Chemistry, feel unnecessary, though. Semester exams are very difficult since there is a lot of syllabus. Maintaining a good CGPA is hard, and the pass percentage is about 30–40%.
Other: I chose ECE due to its versatility. It includes both software and hardware aspects and has evergreen industry demand. I would improve the infrastructure and remove unnecessary subjects like Chemistry. There are four events per year: freshers, farewell, a club fest, and a branch fest. The college has excellent connectivity since it is located in the city center.

My college is a very good and prestigious college; it is known throughout India.
Placements: Software development roles for CSE and for ECE companies like Honeywell and HCL, for EEE companies like Schneider, Usha, Verizon, L&T, TCS, Vedanta Ltd. My college is a very good and prestigious college; it is known throughout India. There are good placements with a great average package every year in every branch. One thing no one believes is that even metallurgy students got a placement for 12,00,000 for 12 students. My college is a great college with a great infrastructure and great equipment, with a big library like in IITs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, and the lab equipment is also good; there is no need to complain about the infrastructure. It’s a little bad in Wi-Fi, and classrooms are clean and hygienic. Every classroom has a projector, and this college has two libraries: one is the central library and the other is the CRC library. The canteen is good, medical support is excellent, and sports and games are often conducted in every college. This college is the selection committee for all the colleges in Hyderabad, and the players are also selected to the national college level for games like kho-kho and kabaddi.
Faculty: Teachers are also helpful. We have associate and assistant professors and the HODs who are well-qualified and knowledgeable, there’s no doubt about this. The course curriculum is also fully relevant, which is helpful for your life after the B.Tech programme, making you ready for the industry. The semester exams in this college were medium, if you study a bit hard, you can get a CGPA of 8 or above, and the pass percentage is approximately 85-90%. .
Other: I chose this course based on my interest in government jobs and core knowledge in EEE. The best things about this particular EEE course are practical experiences and core knowledge. There are many events and fests being conducted in this JNTU-Hyderabad college, such as ERAYA, VILAS, STHAPATHYA, AKRUTHI, etc.
