On Highlights

Q:   I got 14513 rank in TS EAMCET (obc). Can I get seat in JNTUH.

A:
Based on the previous year's cutoff, a rank of 14513 in TS EAMCET under the OBC category may not be sufficient to get a seat in the B.Tech programs at JNTUH. However, the cutoff varies every year, and it is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. The cutoff for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH through TS EAMCET varies every year and depends on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, the availability of seats, and the category of the candidate. It is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. However, based on the previous year's cutoff, the minimum TS EAMCET rank required for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH was around 20,000 to 25,000 for the general category, and for the OBC category, the cutoff was around 30,000 to 35,000. Please note that the cutoff varies every year, and it is advisable to check the official website of JNTUH or the TS EAMCET counselling website for the latest cutoff ranks. Also, meeting the cutoff rank does not guarantee admission to the programme as the final seat allotment depends on the availability of seats, the candidate's preference, and other factors.

Good for acquiring knowledge.
Placements: About 65-70% will be placed every year. The highest package is about 50 LPA, the lowest could be 4 LPA, and the average package is about 8 LPA. Wipro, Vedhant, and many more recruiting companies. Many roles such as assistant engineer, in IT companies.
Infrastructure: Good facilities such as Wi-Fi in laboratories and good equipment in the electrical machines laboratory. Classrooms have blackboards, good benches, and good facilities. We have good food served in the hostel mess, but the hostel is not hygienic. The canteen contains good food.
Faculty: Professors of our college are highly qualified and have vast knowledge. They teach very well, especially our core subjects electrical machines, and power systems. Semester exams are quite easy if you prepare with the PYQ papers, and the pass percentage is about 70%.
Other: I am interested in electrical engineering. Learning practically improves knowledge more than studying from books. We have a fest named Pragyna every year, which lasts for 3 days. It is a tech fest that contains robotics workshops and cultural activities.

JNTU life of a student who has many dreams.
Placements: The campus placement rate in my college is so good that even software and core companies have been coming to our department. Even last year, we had Matworks placement of 24 LPA which was a very great of money, and a fresher salary, so the placement rate is fine.
Infrastructure: It has good infrastructure and development buildings. They have good ventilation, still, they are old construction and building. The construction of the hostel is also old, so by getting in here, we can see a little construction which is totally fine. Because the residing area is so good.
Faculty: It is very good. The faculty and studies have good facilities. The library and curriculum are also revised every year with a certain year limit, which is a good thing for changing technologies added to us. Even professors have included projects from 2nd year to make it easier for us in the last year.

The events in the college are actually good.
Placements: The top roles offered from our electrical and electronics branch are from the core side. The least was about 4 LPA and the highest was around 15 LPA. More than 50 percent got placed. The GPA of all the students is low, so it is difficult for the companies which come.
Infrastructure: Classrooms: Spacious, well-lit, and ventilated classrooms with modern teaching aids like LCD projectors, sound systems, and blackboards. Laboratories: Well-furnished laboratories with advanced instruments and apparatus. Library: A library with e-resources. Auditorium: A venue for conferences, workshops, seminars, and other events. Administration block: A well-designed block with offices for the principal, vice principal, HODs, faculty, and other staff.
Faculty: When you get targeted by the faculty, it is difficult to pass that particular exam. The semester exams are conducted strictly. The syllabus does not get completed for the examinations. We should make sure to prepare by ourselves. The pass percentage is less as the evaluators always think to fail us.
Other: Nothing much to say about the course. Except the classes everything else is good.

Placements: 50% of students get placed. The highest package offered is 10 LPA, and the average package is around 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T, NCC Limited, Aparna Construction, etc. As of now, no internships are provided by the university.
Infrastructure: JNTUH is a very big, lush green campus. There is a separate building for each branch, and there are two university libraries, with every department having its own library. There is a big ground and an indoor sports complex for all types of sports. The food in the hostel is good.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified from various IITs and NITs and have a wide range of knowledge. Passing semester exams is moderate because the correction here is quite tough, and average students pass. The passing percentage is around 80%.

The life at JNTU, Hyderabad.
Placements: Placements here are very good and companies which come to recruit students are very high level. College also trains students to attend interviews and very helpful to students. The average package of my course is 12.5 LPA, which is pretty high compared to even some NITs. The packages here are very high and helpful for students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure here is not that high compared to some IITs but it is very good for students who would like to study peacefully and enjoy B.Tech life very much. College life here is very good as we don't have any kind of restrictions to be bound and we are allowed to make our own decisions.
Faculty: Exams are pretty tough compared to other colleges and they expect us to be the top student in the course.
Other: The extracurricular activities are conducted like clubs and all the sports here are taken very seriously and students learn sportsmanship and team work to be helped in the future.
