This is Telangana's top college.
Placements: We can be placed in top companies like DRDO, JSW Steel, ISRO, and many research companies. We can get an average of 4 LPA in the placements and our branch placement rate is 100 percent. A few students get an internship from our college but it's rare.
Infrastructure: The sports block is good but I'm not allowed to play. They allow after 5:00 PM, and no extra activities are conducted. The hostel infrastructure is very bad, the food is average, no proper washrooms, and there is no Wi-Fi in the classroom. The library has a pretty good number of books available, but only one canteen is available.
Faculty: Faculty want to fail students in the semester exams, regardless of how well they write. Teachers are good sometimes but they often eventually target the students in examinations. In 2026, the B.Tech 1st year 1st semester pass percentage is only 20 percent.
Other: College fests are not that interesting better to not go, just choose this college because it's a state top college.

Review of JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad.
Placements: I am unsure regarding placements until I sit for it. There are mixed reviews from seniors, but I have seen good efforts from the placements cell to help students get placed. It is very important to have a hold on your skills in your respective domain by yourself. I am using my freedom of speech 19 1 A to write this review truthfully if any of the dumb guys find this hurting. The only advantage is that it's in the centre of the city, open gates, freedom and the JNTUH tag. It's not worth putting a pisa in its current condition. Just embrace the freedom by going out.
Infrastructure: All the high-fidelity hardware from CNCs, lathes, and 6DOF, SCARA robots are basically in permanent sleep mode. Classrooms have recently shifted to a better building. The canteen is like some kind of city cafe. I have not seen any good international-level projects happening here. Some tequip stuff is just left. Just imagine we have used the vintage abrasive sand papers, which are 10 years old, in the materials lab. The IC engines lab was somewhat good. There are many pathetic things to say, but there is a word limit here.
Faculty: Only some specific faculty are good, all others should just be fired. Most of the contract lecturers are pathetic. But there are good teachers like KMR sir, Naga Sarada ma'am, VKR sir, Indira Rani ma'am and Shravan sir who teach us and possess good knowledge. The course content will be good, but the environment is not so good for learning subjects. There is no recruitment, I guess. I have not studied for any exam to date and have passed, except for a couple of times. Many of them lack industry expertise and come as project guides.
Other: I chose this course with an interest in the manufacturing domain. There is nothing here to understand the mass scale of it, large scale projects were not conducted when I was in college. Improvements are needed in all aspects. The college is with a lower NIRF with far better qualities according to current standards. The fest is not technical, it's better called a cultural fest, betting and game of luck type things, only you will get to see in the fest, rather than actual engineering. After my 1st year of engineering, I went quite depressed. I leveraged hunting for other impactful projects and networking.

Recommended to join after completing research on our course.
Placements: According to the management, they were performing their best in placement, but a lot of dilemmas with us. Quanticate, Park Academy, Electronics Arts, Merck Group, and MU Sigma hire students especially for the position of quantitative analysis and relevant positions with salaries between 3 LPA to 5.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The worst thing about the college was that they list out good performers as well as the bad performers which leads to creating stress and unnecessary anxiety for the students. It's a little bit important to show some concentration on the hygienic conditions of the college. Some of the activities of those in college created a severe impact on the students.
Faculty: Faculty members created a temporary solution for the students, but they won't think about the roots of the problems. The faculty members' explanations of various practical experiments were not clear, creating chaos in mid of experiments. Faculty members read the books of various authors instead of giving proper clarity on different aspects.

JNTU Hyderabad is a good university that provides quality education and career opportunities.
Placements: The placement opportunities are good, especially for students from top-affiliated colleges. Many well-known companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and Cognizant visit the campus and affiliated colleges for recruitment. The university also encourages internships, projects, and skill-development programs to prepare students for jobs.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi in labs but not in classrooms. We have two big libraries in JNTUH. Since it is a government college hostel, the quality of the facilities in our hostel is just good. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good. Medical facilities, sports, and games are good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching experience is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that easy. Students really need to study well to get good marks in it.

Absolutely satisfied with the college.
Placements: The college has good placements, and most of the students with a good CGPA will be placed. Many MNC companies will visit the college since it is a university and a government institution. However, the internship facility is a little bit low as we have to seek it from outside on our own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is not that good, but it is worth the hostel fee. The food provided by the hostel is good not that bad but we can get bored with the weekly menu. The food will be good, and the Wi-Fi facility is also available in the hostel.
Faculty: As it is a government college, the teaching faculty is somewhat good. However, when it comes to examinations, we will have tough question papers for the semester, and the corrections will be very strict. But we can score good marks if we follow up on our studies day to day.

Typical government college.
Placements: As of this year, 2025, I think my department, which is EEE, got 50 offers per 200 members (they are my seniors who got placements this year). The highest salary is 28 LPA. Minimum is somewhere near 3 LPA. This year's top company is Accenture (of course, that 28 LPA). I don't know about internships.
Infrastructure: I will give insight into the academic block first. Of course, as a reputation for college indeed depends on cleanliness, it's good. Washrooms are above average. Water supply is average to above average, I mean, no matter how bad the water supply, at least they should be able to provide water before noon. As for the hostel, it is good in my first year (now I am at 3rd year), where I stayed that year. But after that, it's not good, or not worth the money.
Faculty: Don't know why I feel like giving below average, it's probably the worst. The curriculum is the JNTU syllabus according to the R22 regulation, which is okay. As for the faculty, some are the worst I have ever seen (of course, it's not like I studied B.Tech before, still). Feels like even the worst of us can give a better lecture. It's outdated, not talking about this particular college, but the entire state curriculum.
