We have an amazing campus, supportive staff and faculty, and a great learning experience.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students were placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA. The drama production company Yash Raj Films and media houses like New Chances provided internships to 75% of students based on their choice of where they wanted to do their internships. Positions included assistant director and content creator.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are great; we have labs, a library, and auditoriums. The classrooms are nice places to sit around when we don’t have class, and we have a canteen as well. However, the quality of hostel food is not great; they charge more money without providing proper freedom, leading to many restrictions.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, and teaching is great. It maintains a balance between theory and practice, helping students build a strong portfolio while gaining hands-on production experience. Each semester, we have four exams, and the pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose journalism, mass communication, and English literature. The best thing about this course is that we can enter any field as journalism students; we have many opportunities in various areas like film, photography, editing, design, etc. Everything in this course is perfect. We also have two festivals from this course, Jyoti Filmato and Mediatron, where many people are invited for the big celebrations, and we have a huge crowd.
