I got 81.31 percentile in MAH CET? I have applied through J&K quota. Is there any chances of getting admission?

The admissions are through DTE. As such, the cutoff is not available with us for the J&K seats. As you've already applied, I think it is a chance worth taking. Best of luck!

PGDM in International Business offers you 2 specializations: Finance and Marketing. The course, right from first year, is more oriented towards the global scenario and how companies operate therein. As such, most subjects, while giving you a thorough grounding in the basics of management, will be taught with the international scenario in mind. Depending on which specialization you choose in the second year, you will be allowed to sit for all marketing or finance companies. IB is the second oldest course in the PGDM program, and one of the most sought after.

All the courses under PGDM sit for placements together. As such, we do not collect data for individual courses. Moreover, all courses are at par and it depends on the specialization the student wants and how clear he/she is about it.

You can choose to get wait listed for RM and Communications. But chances through counselling are slim for any course.

We do not calculate details of placement for individual streams. The average package this year was Rs 9.4 lacs across all branches, including finance. We had quite a few banks and other financial institutions hiring for finance this year. As far as Tapmi goes, it is certainly good for finance, but I would put it in the same league as Somaiya. However, Somaiya definitely has a location advantage, being in the heart of the financial capital of India.
