KJSIM hostel infrastructure is well-maintained and has a separate accommodation facility for both girls and boys. There are two hostels, called Maitreyi for girls and Sandipani for boys. The hostels have twin and triple-sharing rooms with attached bathrooms. All the rooms have basic furniture, such as a bed, a study table and chair, a wardrobe, etc. All the hostel rooms are airy and comfortable to provide a home-like atmosphere to the students. The hostels are supervised by the wardens and are under the surveillance of 24/7 CCTV cameras to ensure the safety and security of the students. For the hostelers, a mess is mandatory and is chargeable. Mess facility is also available on a chargeable basis. The mess facility is mandatory for hostels, and the charges need to be paid in advance along with the hostel fee at the beginning of the academic year. All the students are required to follow and maintain certain rules to maintain the discipline of the hostels.
Sandipani, a dedicated hostel for boys, has 232 rooms with an accommodating capacity of 678 students. There are 9 twin-sharing and 220 triple-sharing rooms available at the boys' hostel. At
