Review of Khawaja Garib Nawaz College, Darbhanga.
Placements: This course was about paramedical, and we got jobs as operation theatre assistants.
Infrastructure: The library was available, but the classrooms were not very clean. I did not live in the hostel because my home was nearby, so I preferred to go to college from home. My classroom did not have bulbs. Fans were there, but some of them were not working. There were no sports facilities, no canteen, and the seating arrangements were also not good.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and supportive. They had a lot of knowledge about everything related to the study. We lived together like friends. There were no practicals available for paramedical students, even in the college. Older students told us that the semester exams were conducted very late. The course timeline was two years, but the final exams were taken very late, sometimes after four or five years. There were a total of 35 students in my batch. The college fees for 2 years were Rs.80,000 only, and other charges like registration and exam fees were not included.
Other: I chose this course because it was affordable and took less time than B.Sc., GNM, ANM, etc. The examination system should be improved and facilities should have been well-maintained. Practicals should have been provided. Classrooms should have been neat and clean, and seating arrangements have to be good.
