The real unbiased review.
Placements: Poor placement for MSW. The only way is after a master's to get a good internship and then with experience, we can get a good job and package. Many hospitals and pharmaceutical companies offer jobs but the first 6 months are internship periods. After completing the MSW, the average package we can expect is 2.4 to 3 lacs per year. In reality, no one is talking about this.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is attractive; it has yellow-colored buildings and eye-catching infrastructure. The college is as good as the facilities; our computer lab is very big, and we can practice here at any given time. The library in college contains books, novels, comics, magazines, study materials, and even notes. We have a college canteen but space is very limited and only snacks and tea are on the menu. Yes, hostel service is available in college but I come directly from my home, which is near the college. Sports are rarely played.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, but they do not treat all students equally. Bias is found in their behavior. Teaching quality is average; they are very fast in teaching, and because of that, we do not understand all concepts. MG University is a parent university; its curriculum and norms are what the college follows. MG University conducts exams that are averagely difficult; our batch pass percentage is 90 percent.
Other: The teaching schedule is very strict and management is also very strict. If any mistake is made by student parents, get informed by management.
