Average college, poor placements, minimal support, and somehow surviving it.

Placements: So far, neither my batchmates nor I have been placed. It is honestly disappointing that none of us has been placed yet. College has not really helped much with placements or opportunities. We completed our course expecting support, but that did not really come. Now we are just left figuring things out on our own. It feels unfair.

Infrastructure: At Lalbaba College, there is no Wi-Fi available. People say there is a lab, but no one has actually seen it. The classrooms are like any typical tier-3 government college, with a capacity of 70–90 students. There is a library which is decent, neither very good nor very bad.

Faculty: A few teachers are helpful and supportive, but many faculty members are not. Some genuinely guide us with the curriculum and projects, while others seem to be just going through the motions. Exams are generally of moderate difficulty, not too tough and not particularly easy either.

Other: I mainly joined to get my graduation degree so I could pursue higher studies. The gap between exams used to be long, but after COVID, it was reduced drastically. In my Accounting Honours course, most students knew how to solve problems, but their actual understanding was quite low. Apart from a few events like Holi and Saraswati Puja, the college does not organize many fests or extracurricular activities.

Good, and value of money.

Placements: Percent of students were placed in my course is around 90%. The highest, the lowest and the average package offered in my course is between 3 to 5 LPA. Top Recruiting companies for my course are Infosys and many more. Percent of students got internship from my course is around 80%.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for your course department are Wi-Fi, Labs, Classrooms and Library. Wi-Fi has a decent speed with which we can download any software or application within in a minute. The quality of library is awesome, and they have a huge space, and more than 100 students can be seated at once.

Faculty: The teachers are very much helpful to students. They are very much talented; they are graduated from very renowned institutes. The semester exams are quite hard which I think is a best thing for every student. Pass percentage of my college is nice around 90%.

Good college with less fees structure.

Placements: Around 20% students gets placement every year. The highest package was 4LPA and the average package offered in my course is 3-6 Lacs. Recruiting companies for my Course was PWC, EY, DETTOL, etc. Around 30% students gets internships. 40 percent of students got internship from my Course.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course/department is that Wi-Fi is available for all students and staff. A/ c is available for all students and teachers staff. The best quality of facilities are available in our hostel, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good, medical facilities are available, sports and games are organized in annual programme.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is very good as they use native language to teach us. It is very difficult to pass the semester exams in this college because the pass percentage is around 60 to 70 percent.

I am satisfied with faculty members in our college.

Placements: The salary packages offered in our course are between 3 LPA to 6 LPA. Recruiting companies are PWC, EY, Deloitte, etc. Around 40% of students get internships.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for everyone. Air-conditioners are available. The quality of hostel facilities is the best. The best quality food is served in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities, sports and games are conducted annually.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is high. It is very difficult to pass semester exams in our college. The pass percentage is around 60% to 70%.

Facilities are very good. I just love the infrastructure. Many students got placement in 2016.

Placements: Many students got placement through our college. The basic package was 1.5 LPA and the maximum was 6 LPA. More than 45% students got internship from our college in Times of India Newspaper. Top roles offered are Accountant and other roles related to finance.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite well and even smart rooms are available for smart classes. The college needs a renovation and few things need to be replaced totally. The staircase needs to be repaired and the windows need to be changed, rest everything is fine. More fans are required in our classes.

Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is good and everyone is so friendly, especially the accounts professor. Your mind will get blown out once you get to gain knowledge from him/her. The teachers are the most supportive and they are really awesome.
