You can get the old Kolkata like 2000 vibe. Here, you can enjoy your bestest college life.

Placements: Maybe 30 to 40% of students got placed. The highest salary is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 2.44 LPA. Recruiting companies are Wipro, Startek, etc. 30 to 35% of students get the internship as manager in digital marketing, CA helper, and also you will get more opportunities for this. Don't waste time doing the course.

Infrastructure: We have all facilities regarding commerce field, lab, and digital room. Wi-Fi is available in our hostel, and good quality food is provided by canteen. We have common room where we used to play games. There is a little playground for cricket and other games.

Faculty: We have helpful teachers in college. All are great in quality teachers. This course is related to curriculum vitae, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy. If you are an average student, you don't need to attend more classes if you follow your teacher's instructions.

Other: I chose this course because this was good course for me. I will gain more knowledge from this course about marketing corporation bank and all.

All over good except for official work.

Placements: Since recruiters are from small companies there are not any high-paying amount for accounts honors students. It ranges from 1.2 LPA to 1.5 LPA for a fresher. Not much scope for bachelor of commerce pursuing higher studies can be beneficial to get a high-paying job.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of authorities is well decorated. Classrooms have moderate quality tables and other equipment. But work of authorities is quite slow and full of harassment. But the annual fair, sports events, and cultural programs are amazing and full of memorable moments.

Faculty: Teachers are well-educated, cooperative, and helpful during the entire course period. Despite having a blackboard all the lectures are explained clearly. Semester exams in the college are challenging, as invigilators are strictly perform their duties. But all over passing marks are average i.e., 35%.

Other: I chose this course as a foundation for my future goal to become an audit and accounts officer. I have found that it would be great if we covered a topic like accounts in one semester instead of studying it in two parts in two different semesters. Except for official work, evening in college is a great experience for me.

Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary offered was Rs 16,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs 12,000 per month. If someone wants a decent college in decent feels then go for it.

Placements: The placement performance of the B.Com (Hons. ) programme in our college has been modest, reflection the overall developing academic environment. During the latest placement cycle, around 35?40% of students were placed. primarily through campus drives conducted by small and mid-level companies. A few students also secured off-campus opportunities through their own efforts

Infrastructure: The winner facilities are moderate our college doesn't have it own mess and there is no medical facilities and the classrooms are okay. The college campus in not that big but it is good and the very bad thing about this college is the union of this college they are helpful in things but they will take you to the rallies in the name of some important work.

Faculty: Yes teachers are very helpful sometimes but they are always mad at someone like they have nothing to do with the students all they need is the money they got from the college. And the B.Com course in this college is basic like all. They only do what they need to no extra work from them.

Just done for the sake of completing the course and get the degree.

Placements: In my college, placement was not good at all. Barely less than 50% of students sat for the interview rounds, and 30–35% of students got placed. The average package was Rs. 11,181. I do not remember the top recruiters. There were no internships provided by my college. Sales jobs were offered.

Infrastructure: The library was good. There was no Wi-Fi facility. Labs were too small, with only 2–3 computers barely. Classrooms were just good. There was no hostel near my college at all. We had to take either PG or a flat near the college. Sports and games in my college were just good.

Faculty: Some teachers were helpful, and some teachers were of a dominating nature, acting as if they knew everything. The teaching quality was not good at all. This course did not make students ready for the industry. The semester exams were of average level. The passing percentage was 30%.

Good college compared to other colleges in Sealdah.

Placements: I'm from the 2023-2026 batch, pursuing a B.Com at my college. Around 40%-50% students got placed from our course, not too high but okay for an average college. The highest package is around 6 LPA, the lowest is like 1.8 LPA, and the average stays near 3 LPA. Companies like Wipro, HDFC, Tech Mahindra, and some local firms came for placements. For internships, maybe 60% students got it. Some do through college, and some on their own, such as companies like National Vocational Academy of India.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Surendranath Evening College is average.
