Really happy with Life at LBSIM.

Placements: Lbsim saw 100% placements for batch 2017-2019, companies from various backgrounds visited the campus and offered profiles to students. The highest package offered was 28 lacs per annum and average was 9.2 lacs per annum. Some of the prominent recruiters include Asian paints, Deloitte, Wipro, Kpmg to name a few.

Infrastructure: At Lbsim, a well furnished cafeteria and hostel facility is provided to students. We also have a state of the art library with over 30000 books and subscription to various databases like proquess, indiastats. We also have a Bloomberg oriented finance laboratory with 12 Bloomberg terminals and an IBM analytics lab.

Faculty: We have a experienced and learned faculty who are helpful and provide students with best of their knowledge. The course curriculum is designed keeping in view the industry requirements and the faculty also compliments the course curriculum. We have dual specialization for PGDM ( general, finance and Research and business analytics ).

The college provides an industry-relevant course structure.

Placements: Research and business analytics course was introduced in our college in the year 2018, so it is our 2nd batch. Seniors have got PPOs from elite companies. Almost 100% of the students from the previous batch got internships. Companies visit the campus from October for placements.

Infrastructure: We have a library with more than 30,000 books, along with subscriptions to databases like ProQuest, Indiastat and Prowess. There is a cafeteria and also a Bloomberg lab. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. Hostels are located outside the campus, and the food served at the hostel is above average.

Faculty: Faculty members are well experienced and knowledgeable. They conduct classes through PPTs and case studies. Our course curriculum includes subjects like database management systems, machine learning and analytics, natural language processing, deep learning and artificial intelligence, etc.

Other: Research and business analytics course has a high demand nowadays and also has a huge scope in the upcoming future, so I chose it.

I am satisfied due to good placements in 2019, good faculty, but infrastructure should be improved.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students in our college get placed at the end of the programme. Top recruiting companies for R&BA are EY, Deloitte, Smartcube, Gartner, etc. The highest salary package offered was 28 LPA, and the average salary package offered 9.2 LPA. Almost 100% of the students in our college got internships in companies like Deloitte, EY, TCS, etc.

Infrastructure: LBSIM has a fully air-conditioned and Wi-Fi enabled campus. It also has a Bloomberg lab, which is a great USP. The cafeteria is good with good quality food. The gymnasium is open for every student. Everyday newspaper is provided to every student, and a specific time is allotted to read it. The hostel facility is good with double sharing rooms, and the transportation facility is also provided to hostel students.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and their teaching quality is excellent. Mostly teachers are PhD holders, which make them more experienced. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready by enhancing their presentation and communication skills.

Other: The reason behind choosing this course was the emerging demand of data analyst and data scientist in the industry. I wish the college should focus more on practical learning in R&BA course. The college provides a plethora of extracurricular activities. The campus crowd is also good.

It is one of the best colleges for research and business analytics.

Placements: Our batch is the second batch, and hence the seniors are yet to get placed. Some seniors got PPO from Asian Paints and Deloitte with a salary package of around 12-14 LPA. Almost 100% of the students from our senior batch got an internship. Some of the research and business analytics companies like E&Y, Deloitte, Gartner, Smartcube, etc., visited our campus last year.

Infrastructure: The campus is not huge, but it is decent. The library is awesome. You will like our cafeteria. The sports area is not available at our campus, and for that, you will have to go to the DDA sports complex. There is also a Bloomberg lab. The entire campus is air-conditioned.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-experienced and qualified. They are helpful and guide you in every project you do. Our course curriculum includes R, Python, Hadoop, tableau, excel, SPSS etc. The course curriculum is relevant, and companies prefer students knowing courses like python.

Other: Data Analytics is huge in demand nowadays, and its scope is high in future. There is a finesse club, entrepreneurship cell, Nivesh club etc., and you can learn many things from these clubs which you can not learn through textbooks.

The college is good, value for money and has good faculty.

Placements: All students got placed. The average salary package offered is 9.4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. All the students got an internship from our institute in various companies. The top roles offered are Marketing, and Financial Analysts and the major recruiters are from banks and other FMCG companies.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, gym and library with over 30,000 volumes and also with Bloomberg and analytics lab. The institute provides hostel facilities to the students. The hostel is optional with the necessary facilities. It also provides three times meals to the hostel students.

Faculty: The faculty is qualified and knowledgeable. We have a maximum of four lectures in a day for 1.5 hours. We also have visiting faculty who have a doctorate. We have marketing faculty from IIM Bangalore, and also all the teachers are well qualified and always ready to help the students.

Other: The course is focused on research and business analytics, which is the primary demand of the industry, and we have annual cultural fest called Tatva.
