Best college in Kolkata for girls.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Teachers are very helpful. The course makes students industry-ready. Exams are easy. 40% is the passing mark. If a student falls behind with some topics, special care is being taken by teachers.

It's a great experience.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and are very efficient for roles they play in our college. The college evaluation process is very fair but there is one backdrop that it is under Calcutta University, which usually causes problems in the irregularity of exams.

Really good college with well-equipped classrooms and teachers. Placements are not provided.

Faculty: The professors are very knowledgeable and wise with their teaching methods. They pay attention to the students and explain each topic with great detail for each paper. Video, song, handouts, etc., are used to accompany the explanations, which makes it easier to understand. CU conducts the semester exams, but the internal exams are conducted by the college. The exams are not very difficult if the students pay attention to the topics explained in the class.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty and no college placements in 2022.

Faculty: The exams were moderately hard. Almost 80% of the students passed the exam. However, the teachers were very highly qualified, which made it hard for average students to grasp the basics. Also, sometimes the teachers did not use to finish the syllabus.

Had a great experience here.

Faculty: The curriculum is vibrant with various extracurricular activities happening throughout the year. The teachers possess proper qualifications for teaching and have a great grip on their domains. Regular internal exams are conducted, and being affiliated with CU, it follows the end semester schedule according to Calcutta University.

Review of Loreto College.

Faculty: Our teachers are excellent. They prepare us for all-around excellence. Our teachers graduated from Oxford and Cambridge. They are good. The teaching quality is good. Semester exams are difficult.

It is the best women's college at Calcutta University.

Faculty: All teachers are the best. They have good knowledge about their subjects. The curriculum is quite relevant. It does not make us industry-ready. It does not provide a vast choice of job opportunities. Our college is affiliated with Calcutta University. Questions are very easy. The evaluation system and scoring are difficult.

It is perfect for academic studies, overall development, and many opportunities are available.

Faculty: Some of the best faculty members you can expect here and are very prompt to student issues, and help you throughout. The college is under Calcutta University, so neither the syllabus nor exam has anything stake from the college. The university majorly takes decisions about the syllabus, the change of pattern, structure, exam dates and certificates, and issue of your degree.

Loreto College is one of the best for B.Ed in Kolkata.

Faculty: Teachers here are among the best in the whole region. They are very helpful and very knowledgeable with good teaching quality. The course is well-designed to fit the modern atmosphere with practical understandings like internships that are mandatory for every student. Extra-curricular activities like yoga, art, dance, music, etc., are also a part and mandatory with the regular studies, which also carry marks in the semesters. Every student in the class is also asked to be attentive and communica...

Good faculty and infrastructure but not very good placements.

Faculty: The teachers are quite qualified, they provide us ample notes and reading materials. The course curriculum is not so relevant but the teachers try to do their best to ensure that the students get industry ready. The semester exams are not that difficult, with a little preparation students can easily score good marks. Almost everyone passes the exams. Those who don't, take the exams again.

The placement opportunities in our college are not much great as there is no placement cell.

Faculty: The faculty members of this college are very important. They don't teach from the books, but instead, they want you to understand and know the syllabus verbally. The thing is they are really experienced and have a passion for the subject which they teach, which makes students also get interested in the subject. Teachers are excellent and well-trained. All of them have a minimum experience of 5 years. They are very supportive and experts in their fields. The combination of subjects provided in ou...

Loreto College - Student life overview.

Faculty: Our department had four teachers and one head of the department. We had separate teachers for the elective subjects. All the teachers were properly qualified and had a lot of knowledge to share with the students. They encouraged class participation and stimulated curiosity in students. There was also a system of feedback mechanism for the faculty at the end of each term for better evaluation and improvement. The course during our tenure needed improvement and currently it had become more industr...

The faculty and facilities at Loreto College.

Faculty: Teachers are very kind and helpful. They not only focus on the academic progress of an individual but also on the overall development of students. They are always ready to guide students in the personal and career related problems. Teachers also participate in fun activities along with the students.

Campus life is not too exciting since we have extended hours of college which includes academic.

Faculty: Faculty members were excellent here. The professors were incredibly helpful and recommended opportunities. Faculty explain in detail if there were something students don't understand. In 3rd year there were above 250 students in the college. Each department of the college had 5-6 teachers.
